The Cultcha Nonstop Concert Series will host reggae artists Iba Mahr and Warrior King at Cultcha Palace (3605 Church Avenue) in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Done in collaboration with Happy Timez Entertainment, the event will also feature the Genna Roots Band, Fyahstone, and Empress Idama.

Musical juggling will be done by One Don, Afrique, and Natural Mystik Sounds. Early bird tickets are now available for US$40 and can be purchase on Eventbrite.

Roots Bamboo Beach Resort Welcomes Luciano On Feb. 7th

Roots Bamboo Beach Resort’s Reggae Month celebration will be in full swing! They first announced Andrew Tosh for Friday, January 31st, as the starter and committed to featuring a top-tier reggae act every Friday throughout the month of February. On the 7th, The Messenjah Luciano is confirmed to perform.

Attendees can expect nothing but hits from the 1990s breakout star. In the mid 1990s Luciano did singles for Musclehead and Louie Culture before returning to work with Philip “Fatis” Burrell for a series of successful singles and the album “One Way Ticket,” which elevated him to the forefront of the Rasta renaissance.

Everton Blender Will Be Live In Seattle On Feb 22nd

On February 22nd, veteran reggae artist Everton Blender will perform at Zanadu Studios—1520 Pike Street Northwest #Suite 2—in the city of Auburn, Washington State. Auburn is approximately 28 miles from Seattle.

Essence of Reggae Music Festival 2025

This year’s Reggae Month celebrations will start with a bang! The Essence of Reggae Music Festival is the first major event on the calendar. It will take place on Saturday, February 1, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center (36 Hope Road) in Kingston.

There will be a music business workshop from 12 pm to 6 pm, which will be followed by a live show. I-Wayne, Tanya Stephens, Yaksta, Munga Honorable, Singer J, DJ Kurt Riley, and JJ Wizzle are all on the lineup, with hosts Bishop Escobar and Badda Bling.

Bushman Wins Cannabiziac Roadshow Scholarship

Cannabiziac, a global member-based company helping new and existing businesses and professionals tap into the growing cannabis industry, recently concluded their international ‘Get in the Biz’ Roadshow in Kingston, Jamaica. Held at The University of the West Indies on October 24, 2024, the event attracted entrepreneurs and individuals eager to explore opportunities in the cannabis industry.

One of the event’s highlights was the Cannabiz Builder Incubator Program preview, offering attendees a chance to pitch their cannabis business ideas to a panel of judges. Reggae artist Dwight ‘Bushman’ Duncan, who is a long-time cannabis user, was one of the winners, and as a result, he was awarded a 16-week Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship Course, which begins on February 17, 2025.

Bushman‘s schedule has been adjusted to ensure that he will be able to attend the course while still honoring his commitments as a public figure and performer. As a matter of fact, he is currently engaged in a digital media tour to promote his single “Whyne Dung.” The tour will conclude in February.

Catch Richie Stephens & Friends In Negril On Feb. 4th

Richie Stephens & Friends is one concert to add to your list of events for Reggae Month 2025. It will take place on Tuesday, February 4th, at Chances Beach Restaurant & Bar on Norman Manley Boulevard (Beach Road) in Negril, Jamaica.

There will be performances by Richie Stephens, Bounty Killer, Leroy Sibbles, Louie Culture, Delomar (from RDX), Yung Ras, and Wilful Skilful. Performers will be backed by the Ruff Kutt Band, and Big A will host.

General admission is US$30 pre-sold and US$40 at the gate, and VIP is US$40 pre-sold and US$50 at the gate.
