The Hearts for Jamaica Relief Fest, presented by Mr. Showtime Entertainment LLC, Global Digital Records LLC, Dias Disaster Relief Fund Inc., and Free Spirit Outreach Inc., in association with the Mayor of the City of Riviera Beach, will now be staged on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

The all-day festival will take place at Dan Calloway Tate Recreation Park, running from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Attendees can expect live performances from Nigy Boy, Third World, Hopeton Lindo, Force MD’s, Red Fox, Ernie Smith, Mad Stuntman, Galaxy P, Ed Robinson, Anthony Malvo, Omari, Causion, Brother Gary, Chico, Joseph Benaiah, Kumar Fyah, Suzanne Sultry, Yah Mystic, Lady Tia, G Cole, Brimstone, The Greaves Brothers, Bryan Anointed Vale, Shanoy, Andy Ballentine, Queen Maxine, and many others. The performers will be backed by the Code Red Band, with music provided by DJ Sunny and Island Vibes.

Admission to the event is one bag of non-perishable items, reinforcing the festival’s mission of solidarity and relief for Jamaica. Registration is available through Caribtix.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Wayne Wonder will no longer be able to perform at the upcoming Lovers Rock event in Montreal. That said, the organizers have confirmed that the show will go on with sets by equally captivating acts: Gyptian and Etana.

Lovers Rock will be held at L’Olympia, 1004 Sainte-Catherine Street East, in Montreal, Quebec, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. This all-ages show will also feature local reggae star Jah Cutta, with musical juggling by L.D.G, Road Warrior, and Little Thunder.

Renowned Jamaican roots reggae artist Richie Spice has returned with a powerful new single, “Energy”, released on November 14 under the Natural High Music label.

The track channels the spirit of classic ’70s and early ’80s reggae, blending a groovy one-drop rhythm with a memorable melody and a message that resonates today. In “Energy”, Richie Spice emphasizes the importance of protecting one’s focus and well-being—an idea especially timely in an era where attention is often our most valuable currency.

Known for conscious and inspirational music throughout his career, Richie Spice has delivered many standout songs, including “Youth Dem Cold,” “Brown Skin,” and “Earth A Run Red.” Early listeners say “Energy” carries the strength and clarity to become another major hit for the veteran singer.

“Energy” is available on all major streaming platforms as a standalone single and is also included on the Soul Remedy Riddim compilation, which features performances from Tessanne Chin, Jesse Royal, and others. The EP release became available on November 28.

Trinidadian reggae singer Marlon Asher will return to the stage at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz, California, on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He will be joined by local reggae powerhouse Eric Cotton and his ensemble, One Love Bomb.

Reggae icon Luciano will bring his uplifting sound to New York City on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with a live performance at Le Poisson Rouge (LPR). Presented by Rising Sun and Jamaican Dave Productions, doors will open at 7:00 PM, and the show is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM.

Patrons must be 18 years or older to attend. Advance tickets are available for $69.68, while day-of-show admission will be higher. Le Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleecker Street in Manhattan’s vibrant West Village.

Brooklyn Bowl will host “Nice Up Jamaica! – A Fundraiser for Hurricane Relief” on December 16, bringing together a strong lineup of reggae and dancehall icons to support communities in Jamaica affected by the recent hurricane. Presented by LargeUp and Brooklyn Bowl, the event begins at 6:00 PM and invites attendees to contribute essential items such as tarps, clothing, and bedding to help the relief efforts.

The evening will feature live performances by King Yellowman, Johnny Osbourne, Anant Pradhan and Larry McDonald, Yaadcore & Di Yaad Man Dem, and Red Fox & Screechy Dan. DJ sets from Ayanna Heaven, DJ Gravy, Barry Cole, Max Glazer, and African Violet Roots will keep the energy high throughout the night.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Rebuild Cockpit Country, The American Friends of Jamaica, World Central Kitchen, and the Ghetto Youths Foundation — organizations dedicated to recovery and humanitarian support across the island. Click here for tickets.
