Gospel Superfest

Cartwright Entertainment presents the 25th anniversary of Gospel Superfest. This is a live television recording that will be staged at Morgan State University—2201 Argonne Drive—in Baltimore, Maryland, on Saturday, June 7th, starting at 6pm local time.

Jekalyn Carr Will Perform In The Bahamas On June 27

‘You Will Win,’ that’s the name of the All-White Divine Worship Concert happening at The Amphitheatre (Woodes Rodgers Walk) in Nassau, Bahamas, on Friday, June 27th. It will be headlined by Grammy-winning gospel recording artist Jekalyn Carr.

In addition to Carr, the show will also feature several Bahamian gospel performers, namely, Shaback, Abaco Celebration Mass Choir, DJ Godson and the Church of God of Prophecy National Children’s Choir. Tickets can be purchased on bahamasetickets.com.

Praise in the Process of Victory

On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, Dawn Martin-Panton will host a gospel concert titled Praise in the Process of Victory. One of the event’s objectives is to raise funds in order to offset Dawn‘s medical expenses.

Praise in the Process of Victory will be held at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, which is located at Braeton Parkway in Naggo Head, Portmore, St. Catherine.

Dawn Martin will enjoy the support of Petra Kaye, Jai Kingston, Unity Singers, Levy’s Heritage, Bishop T, Lubert Levy, Nickette Morgan-Williams, the Shunamite Sisters and MC Nadine Blair.

Slick Rick’s New Album “Victory” Drops On June 13

The latest buzz in the hip-hop community is the announcement of Slick Rick‘s upcoming album “Victory,” which will be released on June 13, 2025. This is Slick Rick‘s first full-length project since 1999. It will feature Nas, Estelle and Giggs.

Interestingly, “Victory” will also be presented as a 30-minute visual, a mini documentary, that was executive-produced by Idris Elba and directed by Meji Alabi.

OKC Juneteenth Music and Arts Festival

CeeLo Green, Khujo, T-Mo and Big Gipp, collectively known as Goodie Mob, will be the main headliners at the forthcoming Juneteenth Music and Arts Festival in Oklahoma City. As this is the culture and soul food edition, it will be a celebration of black cuisine, lifestyle and community.

The OKC Juneteenth Music and Arts Festival will be presented at Washington Park on Saturday, June 14th, starting at 10am local time. Most importantly, this event is free for everyone.

Marlon Asher Will Perform In Auburn, CA on June 7th

Trinidadian reggae singer Marlon Asher, who rose to prominence with his first hit song “Ganja Farmer,” released in 2006, will be taking the stage at the Auburn Oddfellows Hall on Saturday, June 7th, 2025.

Farmer will be backed by the State of Emergency Band and supported by DJ Dubfyah, the opening act. This is a 21-and-older concert that will be hosted by Kurrency King. The Oddfellows Hall is located at 1226 1/2 Lincoln Way in Auburn, California.
