Slick Rick the Ruler will be having his 13th annual Birthday Bash on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Brooklyn Bowl – 61 Wythe Avenue – in Brooklyn, New York.

The English-American rapper and record producer who rose to prominence in the mid-1980s was born on January 14, 1965. His songs “The Show” and “La Di Da Di” are considered early hip-hop classics.

The Lox Will Be In Baltimore On Thanksgiving Sunday

Yonkers rap group, The Lox, will perform at Rams Head Live – 20 Market Place – in Baltimore, Maryland on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 26th. The men are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1998 hit album, Money, Power & Respect.

Nas Will Do Back-To-Back Shows In Aspen At The End Of The Year

Hip-hop legend Nasir Jones (Nas) will do back-to-back shows at Belly Up – 450 South Galena Street – in Aspen, Colorado, on December 30th and 31st.

The Crown Heights, New York MC will unleash from his massive catalogue, which includes old hits like I Can, Hate Me Now, Made You Look, and many more; plus some of his newer tunes from the King’s Disease and Magic album series.

André 3000’s First Solo Album “New Blue Sun” Is Out Now

André 3000 – the American rapper, singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer, and actor – who is best known for being one half of the southern hip-hop duo Outkast – has just released his first solo album.

New Blue Sun, an instrumental record made with wind instruments played by 3000, went live on all streaming platforms on Friday, November 17, 2023.

The Atlanta born lyricist surprised a lot of rap fans who were expecting him to drop an authentic hip-hop LP with bars. In an interview with GQ, André made it clear that he is now in a different place in his life, hence the wind music.
