Gospel on the Green Weekend (Maumee, OH)

On Saturday, August 2nd, and Sunday, August 3rd, A Servants Heart LLC will present the 2025 Gospel on the Green Weekend concert. This is an all ages event that will be staged at the Lucas County Agricultural Society (1406 Key Street) in Maumee, Ohio.

More than just a live show, this will be a weekend filled with soul-stirring music and powerful messages delivered by Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, Leandria Johnson, and Tim Rogers & The Fellas. Click here for tickets.

2025 Heart of America Hot Dog Festival

There will be grilling and grooving at the 2025 Heart of America Hot Dog Festival presented by Hy-Vee on Saturday, August 9th, at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri. Attendees will be treated to live entertainment, ballpark foods, local food trucks and more.

Created by the NLBM (Negro Leagues Baseball Museum) in 2013, the Hotdog Festival celebrates the historical connection between Black Americans national pastime and the all-American hotdog, with proceeds benefitting the NLBM.

In recent weeks, reggae artist Perfect Giddimani has released several singles, including the notable track “Turn Up The Sound.” This lively reggae song has received significant airplay and attention.

“Turn Up The Sound” combines classic roots reggae elements with a contemporary and positive message highlighting the cultural and musical benefits of reggae and dancehall. The track appears on the No Worries Riddim compilation, which was produced by Yungg Trip, and released under the More Badder Media label.

Beenie Man Will Bring Dancehall Energy to Rise Up NYC on July 19

One of the ultimate summer events is Rise Up NYC, a vibrant and dynamic concert series that brings the heart and soul of music to the streets of New York City.

On Friday, July 19th, they will present an unforgettable evening at Wingate Park in Brooklyn. It will feature a live set by the king of dancehall himself, Beenie Man, who is known for several hits, including “Who Am I (Sim Simma),” “Tear Off Mi Garment,” “Ole Dawg,” and many more. Joining him is soca superstar Patrice Roberts, known for her high-energy performances and infectious songs like “Mind My Business” and “Into You.”

The night will also feature electrifying sets by Full Blown, Preedy, and legendary selectors Bobby Konders and Jabba of Massive B. This is a free show that will commence at 5pm local time.

BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, the only free summer-long outdoor concert and performance series in New York City, will present a special evening of film, hip-hop, and reggae in Crown Heights on July 19, 2025.

In the early evening, specifically from 4-7:15pm, they will have a block party at Park Place between Brooklyn Avenue and Kingston Avenue. There will be live performances by reggae legend Johnny Osbourne, golden-era rap pioneers Chip-Fu and Bush Babees, as well as DJ sets by Ayanna Heaven, GabSoul, and DJ Gringo.

In the night, at about 8:30pm, there will be a screening of Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story. This is a documentary about Jamaican trailblazing dancehall deejay and singer Sister Nancy. Admission is free.
