Capleton is “Flying”

Reggae-dancehall recording artist Capleton, who hails from the Islington area of St. Mary, has been a prominent figure in Jamaica’s music industry since the early 1990s. Between 1992 and 1993, he solidified his significance with hits such as “Alms House,” “Music is a Mission,” and the massive hit song “Tour.”

Decades later, King Shango, as he is often called, continues to produce hits! His latest single, “Flying,” is a catchy dancehall tune that, although just released, is already being hailed as ‘a big tune’ by selectors who have received and reviewed the track.

Capleton uses “Flying” to assert his dominance in the dancehall space. With well-crafted lyrics, he shares with listeners the hectic schedule that keeps him in high demand, traveling across the globe to perform in various countries. He further elaborates on the warm reception he receives from his fans and supporters upon arriving in these nations.

“Flying” is in part inspired by real-world experiences, as Capleton is currently on tour in Europe and the United Kingdom. The song can be streamed or downloaded on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, and all other digital music platforms. It is on the Deki Records music label.
