Lovers Leap Launches ‘Lighthouse Series’ With Romain Virgo (@RealRomainVirgo)

Lovers Leap – a romantic lounge and restaurant located in Lower Southfield, St. Elizabeth – is launching a new series called Lighthouse. It kicks off on Saturday, July 2nd with an up-close and personal performance from Romain Virgo.

The lovers-rock specialist is expected to do his hits: I Am Rich In Love, Taking You Home, Star Across The Sky, Soul Provider and all the others. General admission is $3,500 JMD.

Davido’s ‘We Rise By Lifting Others Tour’ Kicks Off In Brooklyn On June 16

Nigerian pop star Davido will be kicking off his ‘We Rise By Lifting Others Tour’ on Thursday, June 16 at Lena Horne Bandshell – 9th Street & Prospect Park West – in Brooklyn, New York. This is a ticketed benefit concert to support BRIC’s free programming.

The tour will continue on June 16th at HISTORY in Toronto, then on the 17th at Boston’s House of Blues. On the 23rd he will head to Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom, before wrapping up on the 25th at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.

Digable Planets Has Back-To-Back Dates At The Lodge Room This Month (@digableplanets)

Digable Planets, the trio known for their significant contribution to both jazz-rap and alternative hip-hop, will be playing at the Lodge Room on Tuesday, June 28th and Wednesday, June 29th.

On Tuesday they have two shows: one at 8pm and a later set at 11pm. The earlier show is already sold out, with tickets going fast for the others. The independent live music venue – Lodge Room – is located at 104 North Avenue 56 2nd floor, in Los Angeles, California.

Third World Will Perform In Brooklyn This Saturday (@ThirdWorldBand)

This weekend, all the members of the legendary band Third World are inviting their fans and supporters to join them at the Lena Horne Bandshell – 9th Street & Prospect Park West – in Brooklyn, New York.

The men will be partaking in the free summer-long outdoor concert and performance series: BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn. The event is powered by BRIC, a brand that operates as a leading arts and media institution anchored in Downtown Brooklyn.

Third World‘s performance will be on Saturday, June 11th. They will be joined by Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra. This event will begin at 6:30pm (local time).

Ne-Yo, Brandy, Jadakiss & More For “Club Quarantine – LA”

D-Nice‘s Club Quarantine Tour will stop in Los Angeles at the Crypto dotcom arena on Saturday, June 25th. This edition will feature a mix of hip-hop, RnB, gospel, pop and Caribbean music.

Confirmed performers are Ne-Yo, Brandy, Nelly, Jadakiss, Mary Mary, Machel Montano, El Debarge, Lil’Mo, and that is just to name a few. It will be hosted by Kenny Burns. Get more info here.

Over the last two years, David Rodigan and The Outlook Orchestra have come together to raise the bar in reggae music in Britain. Testament to this fact is the selling out of the Royal Festival Hall, Somerset House and the Royal Albert Hall – each in under an hour.
