Bugle & Big Feet Records Connect On Upcoming Single

The next single coming from U.S. based reggae imprint – Big Feet Records – is Nuh Doubt, an uplifting, positive roots tune performed by one of the few outstanding recording artists in the reggae-dancehall fraternity, Bugle. 

Many years ago when Bugle publicly transitioned into the Rastafarian faith he made it clear that he would be mindful of both his words and deeds; and being a man of integrity, he has done just that. He has carried himself with dignity and decency, all while releasing chart-topping music filled with inspirational messages.

His forthcoming track, Nuh Doubt, is confirmation of the preceding paragraph. On it he sings:

“mi know say Jah Jah have mi back mi naa have no doubt
if it no positive it naa come out a my mouth
mi neva do this fi no one naa look no clout
if it no positive it naa come out a my mouth”.

Nuh Doubt will be available on all music platforms on Friday, September 15th, 2023, and it comes to us courtesy of Big Feet Records. 

Richie Spice Says It’s “Black Man Time” Now

On his fifty second earth-day, September 8th, 2023, reggae legend Richie Spice celebrated by releasing a brand new album called Black Man Time. The fourteen-track project features collaborations with Capleton (These Are the Days); Louie Culture (Young Juvenile); and Charly Black (Searching For).

Presented on his own independent imprint, Richie Spice Music, the LP is Spice‘s tenth studio album. As for the lyrical content, the record is filled with the kind of substantive messages we’ve come to expect from the Jamaican singer-songwriter.

Have You Seen Donskii’s Video For “Real Survival”?

Approximately two weeks ago, emerging dancehall artist Donskii, in collaboration with his team at Wonder 4 Music, released the official video for the song Real Survival. The track is featured on Donskii‘s debut EP – Fully Don – shared on July 24th, 2023 via the aforementioned imprint. 

Real Survival is the lead single on the four-track project that’s meant to properly introduce the world to Ghana’s new dancehall sensation. Understanding the mission, eighteen-year-old Donskii gave us some solid, catchy tunes that effectively demonstrate his songwriting, vocal, and overall musical prowess.

In keeping with the vibe and energy of Real Survival, visuals producer Director Tee created a very clean, gripping music video, which shows glimpses of Ghana’s inner-cities and the youths therein, as well as the Jamaican side of Donskii; being ‘little but tallawah’ (pun intended). For those not in the know, Though born in Ghana, Donskii‘s father is Jamaican.

Crown Gospel Music Awards 2023

Gospel music lovers are invited to the 16th Crown Gospel Music Awards, which, for the first time, is being held at Orlando Stadium – 1804 Soweto – in Gauteng, South Africa.

Considered one of the biggest gospel awards show in Africa, Crown will take place on Sunday, November 26th, 2023. In addition to the amazing live music that will be served up throughout the night, attendees will also be able to witness the gold carpet, and see their favorite gospel artists up-close and personal.

Israel Houghton’s Story

Israel Houghton is a Grammy award-winning American gospel recording artist, songwriter, producer and worship leader. He’s also a highly respected composer and multi-instrumentalist. Houghton formed Israel & New Breed – a music group and ministry organization – in the mid 90s.

The ensemble was created in 1995 to be exact, and their debut album, Whisper it Loud, was released two years later, in 97. Their releases: New Season, Power of One, and Jesus at the Center topped the Billboard charts, while Alive In South Africa, and Live From Another Level ended up selling gold. Equally noteworthy is the fact that a majority of Israel Houghton‘s LPs were released via his own record label, Integrity.

Houghton is considered one of the most influential tastemakers, because of his ability to add zest and energy to contemporary gospel. His music is known for its cross-cultural style of gospel fused with jazz, rock, and even reggae. Furthermore, he has been honored with a number of prestigious awards, including Dove Awards, Stellar Awards and, as mentioned earlier, Grammy Award.

Indie Label Seeks Inspirational Vocalist

An independent record label, located in Kingston, Jamaica, is currently looking for a vocalist to join their team. The prospect must be: 1) willing to sing songs penned by other writers; 2) open to singing gospel and inspirational tunes exclusively; and 3) should not be affiliated with any other music entity.

Furthermore, the imprint would like to partner with someone who is actively pursuing a career as a recording artist, and as such, is committed to doing the necessary work to effectively promote and exploit recorded songs, i.e. music videos, interviews, live performances etc.

United Pentecostal Church, Greater Life Ministries, is inviting members of the Caribbean community residing in and around Fort Lauderdale, to join them for their Caribbean Night of Worship & Dinner.

Scheduled for Friday, September 29th, on the church grounds – 4563 North University Drive – in Lauderhill, Florida, the evening will be all about Caribbean food, praise and worship.
