The 2024 Kitson Town Gospel Festival is all set for Tuesday, February 13 at Kitson Town Primary School in West Central, St. Catherine, Jamaica. Gates will open at 4:00 PM, but the live show will not commence until 6:00 PM.
This year’s inspirational entertainment will be provided by Kevin Downswell, Johnmark Wiggan, Nicholet Brown, Rian Davis, and DJ Sticko. It will be hosted by the Minister of Health and Wellness Chris Tufton, and admission is free for everyone.
DOO-WOP: An All R&B Soulful Soiree will take place this Saturday, February 10th at Sahara – 2535 South Las Vegas Blvd. – in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a day party that will run from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The twenty-one and older event will be hosted by top-tier rhythm and blues vocalists Neyo, Tank and Mario. This promises to be a star-studded extravaganza filled with VIP vibes and unforgettable moments. Click here for tickets.
This weekend, on Saturday, February 10th, Soca will takeover Queens Park Oval – 94 Tragarete Road in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – as carnival gets into full swing.
The cooler fete will see Kes The Band, Mical Teja, Iwer George, Jadel, Nadia Batson, and others performing live. The live acts will be supported by a slew of soca selectors: DJ Spice, DJ Silk, DJ House Arrest, DJ Daiky, and that is just to name a few.
This Tuesday, February 6th, several artists and selectors will gather at 82 Lady Musgrave Road – behind Kaya Herb House – for an event centered around Honoring The Legend Bob Marley.
There will be performances by Bushman, Mikey General, Yaad Core, Nature Ellis, Singer J, Slash Ladat, Isha Bel, Ras Padam and others. Additional music will be provided by selectors Rickey Trooper, Bill Cosby, CD Master, Sky Level Sound System and Sound Quake from Germany.

It is with this backdrop that reggae lovers are receiving Richie Spice‘s new tune, Come Dance The Night Away.
Throughout his career Richie Spice has always been able to take the temperature of the room and create the right song for the moment. To our benefit, he has done so again. On a steady reggae rhythm the Rasta man invites you the listener to “Come Dance The Night Away and live your life today.” In his distinctive singing style he goes on to say that everyone deserves to be happy and have a good time.
As he’s done in the past, executive producer Josh Harris called on Nikki Burt for harmonies, Jallanzo for guitar, and Santa Davis for drums, while he added the bass, keyboard, and samples. Mixing and mastering engineers were Tommi Tikkenen and Earle Holder.

Big Papa Promotions and Reverend Damien present Spring Break Gospel Explosion Concert on Saturday, March 16 at Agincourt Church of God – 95 nugget Avenue – in Scarborough, Ontario.
Caribbean gospel sensation Bridget Blucher will be in town for the event, and she will be joined by Michael Reid, Kim Arthur, TT Turner, and Gezeel King-Samuel, with MC Kareen ‘Lady K’ Grant. Starting time is 6:00 PM, and there is a $50 entrance fee.
Blakkwuman22 Music has just released the official video for Deliver Us, an unworldly song penned and performed by St. Ann-based recording artist Yahdeen Essence.
Featured on the Blood Sacrifice Riddim which was published in the last quarter of 2023, Deliver Us is a very powerful inspirational tune, sung by an equally strong woman of faith. Clips for the visuals were captured in both Jamaica and Ethiopia, and they highlight Orthodox Christianity’s methodical practices.
The Blood Sacrifice Riddim was produced by dancehall lyricist Karamanti, CEO and owner of Blakkwuman22 Music. The compilation also features Tenshon, Turbulence, Wiseman, Higher Trod, and of course Karamanti.
