After entering New York’s Reggae Chart nineteen weeks ago and making it all the way to the #2 spot, Winston Irie‘s song, Orthodoxy, is unfortunately now descending. It sat at #2 behind YG Marley‘s Praise Jah in the Moonlight for a couple of weeks before it began going down.

Notwithstanding its position on the chart, Orthodoxy continues to do well on radio and is even featured on quite a few reggae mixtapes. What’s more, the song is literally trending in parts of Africa.

Wormbass’ New Single “Sunshine” Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

Last year, famed bass player and recording artist Wormbass shared and subsequently went on tour with his trending single Liberation. The song, which is on Blakkwuman22 Music‘s Survive Riddim, continues to enjoy heavy rotation today, especially in parts of Europe.

Nevertheless, Wormbass is now promoting a brand new lovers-rock tune called Sunshine. Released on Friday, May 10th, 2024, Sunshine is the kind of love song that’s guaranteed to bring about some level of romanticism, regardless of its audience.

In fact, when asked what he would like listeners to take away from this song, Wormbass said the following: “My hope for the song. I would love this song to bring back the kind of love that we grow up on, the one I saw my mom and dad establish. Because in this time it’s like people are afraid to say I love you.”

Sunshine was produced by Delroy ‘Wormbass’ Nevin and Michael Jacas. It is now available on all streaming platforms, and it comes to us courtesy of Jahbirth New Limited.
