Kishna Scott Among Performers For The Upcoming “Gospel Mission Concert” In Lauderdale Lakes, Fl.

Although she made her debut on the gospel scene a few years ago, recording artist Kishna Scott did not initially get the attention she rightfully deserves. This is despite being the daughter of established gospel-reggae singer Derrick Scott

Fortunately, 2023 proved to be a breakout year for the up-and-coming Florida-based vocalist. Last year she blessed several stages with her musical ministry, was featured on the powerful live recording of “Magnify the Lord” with Ty Lupoe and Victory City Church, released the inspirational single “My Everything,” and most notably, was among the nominees at the 2023 Tampa Bay Gospel Awards.

Kishna has taken the momentum into 2024. She will join her dad at the upcoming Gospel Mission Concert, which will be held on November 16 at the Unity New Testament Church of God, located at 4541 NW 36 Street in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. This is a massive annual praise and worship event that is now in its 9th edition. Early-bird tickets are available for US$25. It will be US$35 on the day of the show.

Nesbeth’s New Single “Str888 Nation” Is Already Trending!

Despite his numerous releases, most of which are socially conscious, inspirational, and catchy, when we hear the name Nesbeth, we immediately think about his 2015 breakout megahit song “My Dream.” To be precise, “My Dream” was officially released on October 5th of the above-stated year, but weeks before it came out, it was already buzzing on Jamaica’s underground music scene.

Something similar may be happening with Nesbeth‘s latest tune, “Str888 Nation.” Although this song is already available on streaming platforms (it was published on October 4th, 2024), it is one of the many tunes that is getting a lot of spins, pull-ups, and forwards at local parties and dances nationwide.

On the record, the Rastafarian singer distinguishes himself from some of his colleagues in the industry who may be willing to compromise their integrity for fame and fortune. He sings, “All when a me alone, mi still a stay strong, the world full a hate me no deh ya fi stay long, kill me dead yu know a str888 nation, naa sell me soul, me, love me salvation.”

The trending dancehall track can be streamed and downloaded on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, iTunes, and all other digital music stores where reggae-dancehall is sold.
