Oliver Samuels Launches His Official Website

Beloved Jamaican comedian Oliver Samuels has finally launched his official website. He made the announcement via social media a few days ago, at the beginning of November, on the 4th. That said, the new online home of Jamaica’s king of comedy is oliver-samuels.com.

Samuels earned the title as the Jamaican king of comedy in the early 90s when he starred in the hit TV series Oliver at Large. Despite not having a regular televised show since then, he remains Jamaica’s #1 comedian, and at age 76 he is still performing both stand-up and comic theater.

Kingdom Konnect – Guyana Edition

Grammy Award-winning artist Donnie McClurkin will be in Guyana on Saturday, December 21 for Kingdom Konnect. The event will be held at Guyana National Stadium (East Bank Highway Public Road) in Georgetown, and it will start at 6:00 p.m. sharp. 

McClurkin will be surrounded by an all-star Caribbean lineup: Jaron Nurse, Samuel Medas, Saiku, Positive, John Mark Wiggan, Marc Isaacs, and Blessed Messenger.

Anthony B Announces Upcoming Mini Stint In Australia

Rastafarian sing-jay Anthony B has announced that he will be doing a short tour in the Commonwealth of Australia this fall. The mini stint will begin at the end of November and conclude on December 7th.

Patti LaBelle’s ‘8065 Tour’ Continues

A few months ago, in the middle of the summer, Patti LaBelle kicked off her 8065 Tour as a way to celebrate 80 years of life and 65 years in the music industry. It has been reported that she is also working on a soon-to-be released album called 8065 and that it will feature a collaboration with her longtime friend Gladys Knight.

JIFE Festival

JIFE, an acronym that stands for ‘Jesus is for everyone,’ is a Christian music festival being presented by the Tehillah Gospel Band on December 7th at Dr. William’s Connor Primary School in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.

In an effort to represent Caribbean gospel music as a whole, the event will feature performances by Jaron Nurse from Trinidad, Anointed Vale from Jamaica, La Twain from Antigua, Paige, M1, and the Tehillah Band from St. Kitts. 

Starting time is 7:00 p.m. sharp, and ticket prices are as follows: early bird $35, at the gate $35, and children under 12 $20.

Tiwa Savage Shares Visual For Her New Reggae Tune “Forgiveness”

In mid-October, Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress Tiwa Savage released a reggae tune called Forgiveness. The captivating lovers-rock record is all about the ups-and-downs we all go through in our intimate relationships.

Catch Deitrick Haddon In Detroit On Nov. 30

Gospel singer-songwriter Deitrick Haddon will be back home in Detroit for a concert on Saturday, November 30th. It will be at the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts (350 Madison Street) and will feature an all-star lineup.

There will be performances by Major, Zaytoven, Ma$e, Charles Jenkins, Tasha P. Lockhart, William Murphy III, J. Moss, Tim Bowman Jr., and Mali Music. This event will run from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
