Memorial Gospel Fest 2025

Popular Christian radio personality Brother Gary—affectionately referred to as Bro Gary—will be presenting the 2025 Memorial Gospel Festival on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25.

On the 24th, it will be held at the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, starting at 6pm sharp. Petra Kaye, 2nd Chance, Jabez, Golda McFarlane, Oshane Mais, and Cornelius Edwards are among the confirmed ministers.

On the following day, May 25, the event will continue at 1601 Lauderdale Manor Drive in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a special performance by chart-topping gospel artist Zacardi Cortez. All the aforementioned ministers are also on the lineup for day 2.

Spragga Benz Releases New Song & Video “Hallelujah”

Veteran dancehall artist Spragga Benz, via his Red Square Productions label, has just released a brand new single called “Hallelujah.” The inspirational reggae track, which is being described as an anthem of resilience and gratitude, went live on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 9th.

Hamptons Reggae Fest 2025: Full Lineup and Event Details

The Hamptons Reggae Festival returns in 2025 with a mission to unite communities and celebrate the universal power of music. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, July 13th, at The Clubhouse, located at 174 Daniels Hole Road in East Hampton, New York. Attendees can expect an unforgettable evening of live performances, cultural connection, and outstanding artistry in a vibrant outdoor and indoor setting.

Festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. local time with a series of dynamic outdoor performances. The lineup opens with a set from Skadanks, a progressive roots band originally formed in the 1980s and known for their signature blend of reggae influences and energetic stage presence. The evening continues with a performance by Winston Irie, a respected figure in roots reggae whose authentic sound and heartfelt lyrics have garnered a dedicated following. Also featured on the outdoor stage will be Leon & The Peoples, a nationally acclaimed reggae-soul band fronted by actor and singer-songwriter Leon Robinson. Their unique fusion of reggae rhythms and soulful melodies has made them one of the most sought-after acts in the genre.

Following the outdoor performances, the event will transition indoors to the main stage for the festival’s headlining act. The Grammy-nominated Jamaican band Third World will deliver a highly anticipated set, showcasing their innovative reggae fusion sound. Renowned for incorporating elements of soul, funk, and disco into traditional reggae, Third World has achieved international recognition over their decades-long career and promises a show that will resonate with both longtime fans and newcomers alike. Emerging Jamaican reggae singer Kumar Fyah will appear as Third World‘s special guest. 

The 2025 Hamptons Reggae Festival invites music lovers, families, and members of the community to experience a celebration of reggae’s enduring legacy and its power to bring people together.

Mother’s Day Comedy Show with Oliver Samuels In Ontario

Jamaica’s king of comedy, Oliver Samuels, will be back in Ontario, Canada, for three shows on Mother’s Day weekend.

Ebony Nile Production presents The Prodigal Pickney, a hilarious play inspired by the biblical story of the Prodigal Son. It stars Oliver Samuels, Tesfa Edwards, and Karen Harriot. This play promises a mix of comedy, drama, and heartwarming storytelling that will have audiences roaring with laughter and reflecting on family, love, and life’s unexpected twists. ‘Steady Rock’ with Cornell Campbell, Leroy Sibbles, Etana & Glen Washington on June 21

Coveside Concerts will present Steady Rock at Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann (Jamaica) on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Initially scheduled for April 26th, it was postponed and will now take place on the first day of summer.

Steady Rock will feature four well-known artists, all of whom will captivate attendees with their numerous hits and high-energy stage presence. Confirmed are Cornell Campbell, Leroy Sibbles, Etana, and Glen Washington.

Deitrick Haddon’s Hill City Collective Live Recording & Birthday Bash

On Sunday, May 18th, singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, record producer, and pastor Deitrick Haddon will be going live with the debut recording of his brand new community choir, Hill City Collective.

It will take place at Antioch Church—350 Pine Avenue—in Long Beach, California, and it is absolutely free to the public. The lineup also includes Stout, Lillian Lloyd, Lisa Page Brooks, Melvin Crispell III, and Travis Malloy. The event will commence at 4:30pm.

Ambelique Shoots Video For “I’m Thankful”

Since HeavyBeat Records released Ambelique‘s album “Blind Spot” late last year, a couple of songs from the project have been trending, one of which is track #1, “I’m Thankful.”

As a response to all the positive feedback, producer Willie Lindo—the man behind HeavyBeat Records—and Ambelique arranged for the production of a music video for “I’m Thankful.” The video was shot at the end of April, on the 28th. It is now being edited and should be out in approximately two weeks.
