Soca king Machel Montano will be taking over the historic Apollo Theater in New York City on Friday, August 30, 2024. The organizers are promising a carnival like atmosphere in the Harlem neighborhood of Upper Manhattan. Doors will open at 9:30 p.m., and tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

Grenada Caribbean Music Festival

The inaugural Grenada Caribbean Music Festival is set to take place on Saturday, June 22nd, at Port Louis Lawn in the parish of Saint George. The organizers are promising a vibrant, unforgettable evening of music with an extraordinary lineup of artists.

On Saturday, July 13th, and Sunday, July 14th, the Carnival will take over Albert Whitted Park (480 Bayshore Drive Southeast) in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. The festivities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. both days, giving plenty of time to soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

This year’s event is hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Central Florida, Inc. Headlining the festival are Kes The Band, Desperados Steel Orchestra, reggae legends Inner Circle, Don Chezina, Notch, and many more.

When the live acts take a break, the following DJs will fill in: OsoCity, David Marquez, DJ Spice, DJ Kirky C, DJ D-Nero, and DJ Lips Int’l. These talented spinners will keep the Carnival vibes going strong throughout the weekend.
