Soca king Machel Montano will be taking over the historic Apollo Theater in New York City on Friday, August 30, 2024. The organizers are promising a carnival like atmosphere in the Harlem neighborhood of Upper Manhattan. Doors will open at 9:30 p.m., and tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

The 2024 Tampa Bay International Carnival is just around the corner, and it promises to be an unforgettable weekend of pulsating rhythms, dazzling costumes, and mouthwatering island cuisine.
On Saturday, July 13th, and Sunday, July 14th, the Carnival will take over Albert Whitted Park (480 Bayshore Drive Southeast) in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. The festivities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. both days, giving plenty of time to soak up the vibrant atmosphere.
This year’s event is hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Central Florida, Inc. Headlining the festival are Kes The Band, Desperados Steel Orchestra, reggae legends Inner Circle, Don Chezina, Notch, and many more.
When the live acts take a break, the following DJs will fill in: OsoCity, David Marquez, DJ Spice, DJ Kirky C, DJ D-Nero, and DJ Lips Int’l. These talented spinners will keep the Carnival vibes going strong throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, July 20th, the 2024 Bayfront Reggae & World Music Festival will be staged at Bayfront Festival Park (5th Ave West and Railroad Street) in Duluth, Minnesota.
This year’s lineup includes Nigerian-American actor and singer Rotimi, Jamaican stars Gramps Morgan, Alaine, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Saint Lucian soca sensation Motto, Congolese-American singer Dia Toti, and DJ Sound of Fujun.
