Aarhus Reggae Festival, an acclaimed music event in Denmark, is set to return on August 15 and 16, 2025. This year’s presentation will be held at Voxhall, located at Vester Allé 15 in the Jutland peninsula’s east coast city of Aarhus. With a commitment to celebrating and preserving the authenticity of Jamaican music within Europe, the festival has evolved into a highly anticipated annual affair. It offers a vibrant showcase of reggae, dancehall, and the influential sound-system culture that spawned these genres.
The 2025 lineup includes a curated selection of performers and selectors, each recognized for their significant contributions to reggae and dancehall. That said, Reggae Night, on August 16th, will present live band sets with Chuck Fenda, Leroy Gibbons, Kass Smith, Teacha Dee, and Don Tippa.
Preceding Reggae Night is Dancehall Night on August 15th. It features veteran Danish dancehall artist Pharfar, who will be joined by Jamaica’s Exile Di Brave and Karamanti. Together they will deliver dynamic toasting sessions supported by DJ Riddim Fex and other top-tier selectors. Dancehall Night will also showcase professional dancers Chrisicon and the Iconic Crew.
Beyond the live shows, attendees can explore Culture Village, which offers Jamaican cuisine, handcrafted jewelry, fashion, and arts & crafts. Furthermore, a Family Friendly Zone by the riverside that provides face painting, acoustic sets, and other engaging activities will be accessible to all patrons.
