Fredrick McGregor, publicly known as Freddie McGregor, will host a large-scale birthday party on Sunday, June 29, at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater, located at 20405 Amphitheater Circle in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition to celebrating Freddie McGregor‘s 69th birthday, this event will also highlight his decades-long career as a distinguished ambassador of reggae music.

The team at Big Ship, Freddie McGregor‘s label, has invited some of the most prominent names in the reggae-dancehall industry to join Freddie for this special occasion. Performances will feature Hopeton Lindo, Anthony B, Spragga Benz, Mykal Rose, Chino McGregor, Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor, Perfect Giddimani, Teflon, and Frisco Kid.

Reggae Legend Luciano Live In Boston For Juneteenth

Luciano‘s U.S. tour continues with a stop at the Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub (Downstairs) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, June 18th, a day before the Juneteenth public holiday.

Lineup Announced For Joe Higgs Legacy Tribute

The Joe Higgs Foundation has begun to share the names of the artists and public figures who will be honoring Joe Higgs through music and memories on Tuesday, June 3rd. The father of reggae will be celebrated at the Bob Marley Museum (56 Hope Road) in Kingston, the place Higgs once called home.

So far the foundation has announced that Fredlocks, Marlon Brown, Kenardo ‘Maestro’ Ellis, Abijah, and Joe Higgs‘ daughter, Claudia Higgs, will be performing. The festivity, which is both in-person and online via joehiggsreggae.com, will begin at 7pm Jamaica time.

Jah Mason, Norris Man & Others Confirmed For Reggae Village In Trinidad On June 7th

On Saturday, June 7th, 7even Cities Entertainment will present Reggae Village, the gathering of the people. This live stage show will be held at one of the most picturesque places on the South Side of Trinidad, the beautiful San Fernando Hill.
