Sanchez To Headline Canada Day Concert

On Saturday July 1st, Canadians in and around the GTA will be treated to top notch entertainment, as one of reggae’s most soothing voices will be performing. Sanchez will be headlining the biggest Canada Day concert inside Universal Eventspace (located at 6250 Highway 7 in Vaughan, Ontario). He will be supported by several local acts as well as a backing band.

Though the live show will not begin until 8 PM, doors will open at 6:30 PM sharp. Tickets, which are now on sale at various Caribbean stores and restaurants in and around Toronto, ranges from $40 to $110.

Thriller U Will Do Five Radio Interviews Today! (@thriller_u @nyahblessmusic)

ThrillerAs he continues the aggressive promotion of his recently released song and video, “Non Genuine,” Thriller U is set to do five radio interviews today.

The first will be on Dash Eye Radio at 3PM with host Dash Eye. At 4:30PM he will be on Real Deal FM, on the popular “The Wednesday Wave” show with DJ Unknown. In the evening, at 6:45PM, he will be in studio with Richie Pooh on “Retro Wednesday’s” which airs on Future FM. Immediately after, at 8:30 PM, he will rush over to Linkage Radio for another in studio sit down, this one with Cruz Control on his “Up Top Wednesday’s” radio program. His last interview for the day will be on WRSU 88.7 FM at 9:30 PM with Teddy Genesis.

As if that’s not enough, the following day, June 15th, he will do another interview, this one on Reggae King Radio at 5PM with Kerry Ann Brown.

VP Records announces the completion of a new album deal with Grammy(R) winning R&B artist Estelle. The full length reggae album is scheduled for a fall 2017 release. The first single, ‘Love Like Ours’ featuring reggae star Tarrus Riley is available June 16th with a music video to follow.

The melodic and captivating ‘Love Like Ours’ gives fans a first taste of the upcoming album that will showcase the pivotal influence reggae music has had on the London, England born singer.

​Bunji Garlin & Fay-Ann Lyons joins top tier Jamaican Artists on the Jamaican Jerk Festival in DC (@BUNJIGARLIN @fayannlyons)

The Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival takes place on Sunday, June 18th in Washington, DC. Confirmed artists includes: soca stars Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons along with reggae giants, Tarrus Riley, Romain Virgo, Queen Ifrica and others. They will be backed by the Image Band, while getting additional musical support from: DJ G-Nice, Ricky Platinum and Ablazin DJs. The master of ceremony for this year is the popular radio host Ragashanti.

The event will be held at the Festival Grounds RFK (Lot 6) on Oklahoma Avenue from 11AM to 8PM. In addition to the aforementioned entertainment there will also be a cook-off pavilion and a kid zone.

Reggae in the Desert, Las Vegas’ largest Reggae festival showcasing both the unifying power of Reggae music and the Caribbean lifestyle, announces the 16th annual music festival on Saturday, June 10 at the Clark County Amphitheatre (500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas). The all-ages music festival features Jamaica’s Tanya Stephens as well as Common Kings, Alborosie, Passafire, Eljai, Inna Vision and more.

Doors open at noon and the event concludes at 10 p.m. General admission tickets are $35 and are on sale now. VIP tickets are $80 and include admission ticket, event poster, event t-shirt, and VIP access to private bar and restrooms. Only cash is accepted at the door for tickets on the day of the show. Children ages five (5) or younger are free. All seats are general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No re-entry is permitted.
