On Friday, August 18th, Reggae heavyweights Sanchez and Inner Circle will kick off the opening night of the 14th Montreal International Reggae Festival.

Most definitely one of Montreal’s most popular and beloved performers, Sanchez will be performing his countless Lovers Rock, Dancehall and Gospel hits on the opening night. Also headlining, one of the oldest and most respected reggae groups created in 1968 by brothers Ian and Roger Lewis, Inner Circle!

The Montreal International Reggae Festival takes place at Jacques-Cartier Wharf at the Old Port in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 18th, 19th and 20th.

The popular Marley Festival goes down on June 24th at Snorkel Park Beach in Bermuda.

Kymani Marley will be playing with his 12 piece band, Konfrontation. He Will be singing a collection of his own hit songs as well as paying tribute to his father.

The event also features: Working Title band, Conscious Band & reggae entertainer, Max, as well as Monster Old School Deejays.

Entrance is $125 VIP, $50 advance and $70 at the gate.

There will be local cuisine from Hammer Heads Bar & Grill and gates open at 8pm.

Reggae Sumfest 2017 Celebrates 25th Anniversary (@ReggaeFestGuide)

The Jamaica Observer newspaper recently ran a story titled, “Record crowds expected for Reggae Sumfest’s 25th anniversary show.” The article summed up the excitement by reporting that ticket sales so far this year indicate record crowds coming to the annual event scheduled for Montego Bay.

After the pre-event parties, Catherine Hall Festival Grounds are transformed into the biggest Reggae festival of the year! The Main Event Night 1 on Friday, July 21 night focuses on Dancehall while the Main Event Night 2 on Saturday July 22 has a Reggae Focus.

Sanchez To Headline Canada Day Concert

On Saturday July 1st, Canadians in and around the GTA will be treated to top notch entertainment, as one of reggae’s most soothing voices will be performing. Sanchez will be headlining the biggest Canada Day concert inside Universal Eventspace (located at 6250 Highway 7 in Vaughan, Ontario). He will be supported by several local acts as well as a backing band.

Though the live show will not begin until 8 PM, doors will open at 6:30 PM sharp. Tickets, which are now on sale at various Caribbean stores and restaurants in and around Toronto, ranges from $40 to $110.
