Eva Nice Sundays will present Shane and Trazand’s Red & Blackout 15 on Christmas Day – December 25th – at Frazer Square in St. Ann (Jamaica).
This is a family event that will have a Kids Corner with bounce-a-bout, merry go round, etc. They will also have a bike show, bingo games and live performances. The two main headliners for the live show are veteran reggae artists Turbulence & Little Hero.
International recording artist Romain Virgo, who specializes in the lovers rock style of reggae music, will be performing at Guinness Artistry’s Kaboom Festival at Victoria Park in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on Boxing Day (Monday, December 26).
This is a live band show that will also feature other performers. Passes can be purchased on ticketgateway-dot-com.
Veteran reggae singer and composer Don Carlos will perform at The Longboard Margarita Bar – 180 Eureka Square – in Pacifica, California, on Friday, January 20, 2023. The show will also feature San Francisco Bay’s Reggae Angels; with DJ Irie Dole spinning tracks.

Roots artist Lutan Fyah will wrap up 2022 with a show at Music Box – 1337 India Street – in San Diego, California on Friday, December 30th. He will be joined by Dizzy Wright, T-Irie Dread, Tony Dee9, Rhymestyletroop and Layne Tadesse.
This is a twenty-one and older event that’s scheduled to start at 7:30pm. Early bird tickets are now going for $20, and can be purchased from Music Box’s website.
Hezron‘s latest album – M.O.A.M (Man On A Mission) – released in August via Tad’s Record Inc., is #1 on Richie B’s Jamaica Music Countdown Album Chart for the week of December 9th through 15th, 2022. The LP is enjoying success on many levels, as individual singles have also rose to the top of various charts throughout the year; to say nothing of the fact that the full album was #1 on both the South Florida and New York Reggae Charts in September.
M.O.A.M (Man On A Mission) was produced by Hezron, and features some of the greatest reggae musicians in the industry: Dean Fraser on saxophone, Kirk ‘Kirkle Dove’ Bennett on drums, Donald ‘Danny Bassie’ Dennis on bass, Mitchum Khan on guitar, and Carol ‘Bowie’ McLaughlin and Robbie Lyn on keyboard.
With only five tracks shared as singles so far: Resilience, Man on a Mission, Tik Tok I’m Coming, Save the Children and Smile Today – each with an official video – Hezron‘s fans have a lot to look forward to from this 17-track masterpiece.

On January 1, 2023, two giants in Jamaica’s music industry – Buju Banton and Beres Hammond – will, for the very first time, hold a joint concert. Both men are confirmed headliners for the event dubbed Intimate at the Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St Ann (Jamaica). When the show was first announced in early August, it was made clear that additional artists would be added; and at the end of November the complete lineup was published.
That said, Gargamel and Beres will be joined by the queen of reggae, Marcia Griffiths; singy singy Tarrus Riley, and one of Jamaica’s best male vocal groups: L.U.S.T.
(L.U.S.T.) Lukie D, Thriller U, Singing Melody and Tony Curtis‘ intention is to use this show as an opportunity to give their fans a taste of what they can expect on the ensemble’s upcoming Silver Anniversary Tour, scheduled for the summer of 2023. L.U.S.T. had their big break in 1997 with a standout performance at MIDEM in France, as well as the hit song Sweetness Of Your Love, which was #1 on the local charts that year. Twenty-five years later the men are still going strong! They continue to release music and perform together, while simultaneously managing their respective solo careers.

Don’t Ruin My World – Julian Marley‘s Caribbean pop single released in September on the My-ish Music label – now has some visuals. The official video, which both highlights and celebrates nature, was sponsored by Everland; an organization set up to protect forests and wildlife, resulting in climate change mitigation for the benefit of all.
