Fantan Mojah Calls On Jah In Upcoming Single (@bigfeetrecords)

On Friday, June 23rd, Big Feet Records will make public, Jah Movement, an enthralling Rasta tune performed by one of the most skillful vocalists in roots reggae, Fantan Mojah. Everyone who have had the opportunity to hear this track, have all – almost immediately – compared it to Fantan‘s 2016 mega hit, Rasta Got Soul.

The sharing of Jah Movement is occurring at a favorable time for the artist, as it addresses the concerns of some members in the Rastafarian community who have been openly questioning his faith in recent months. Jah Movement clearly affirms Fantan Mojah‘s relationship with, and commitment to The Most High. It should put to rest any doubts about his dedication to Rasta.

Message aside, this is truly an addictive tune that, according to several music critics, can and should follow the path of Rasta Got Soul. It was produced by Josh Harris and the musical team at Big Feet Records.

It will welcome more than 60 artists; this includes timeless legends from Jamaica, as well as several rising stars. Some of the announced performers are: Ky-Mani Marley, Inna De Yard, Eek-A-Mouse, Chezidek, Johnny Osbourne etc.

Sizzla Kalonji Is In Rare Form On New Single “High Grade” (@Pandemicrecord1)

Reggae-dancehall specialist Sizzla Kalonji has struck again! The Judgement Yard boss recently connected with fast-rising production team – Pandemic Records – for his now trending single: High Grade. Officially released in mid May, the lively dancehall tune is a nod to herbalists everywhere; and a shoutout to Kalonji‘s massive female fan-base.

Known for his roots music which is usually laced with messages about his Rastafarian faith, Sizzla, every so often, gives us a song that would be classified as out of character. High Grade is one such tune. It calls attention to his habitual marijuana use, and his overtly strong desire for the softer sex.

High Grade is one of seven tracks featured on the Passion Fruit Riddim, produced and published by Pandemic Records. In an unconventional method, the imprint has decided to release each song individually, as opposed to the full compilation all at once. That said, the track listing and release schedule is as follows: Sizzla and Ras Kronik on May 12th, Little Hero, Desi and Yahdeen Essence on June 30th, and finally, Capleton and Chillum on a date to be determined.
