Wesrok, Jamaica’s King Of Country-Reggae Takes His Music To Nashville, TN

Jamaica’s king of country-reggae music, Wesrok, who although fairly new on the scene, is already attracting the attention of established country music insiders. The Bog Walk, St. Catherine singer is currently in Nashville, Tennessee – a place most famous for its status as the long-time capital of country music.

His trip to Nashville was timed to coincide with the 2023 CMA (Country Music Association) Awards, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena on November 8th. Despite the fact that Wesrok was not booked for the show, he and his team used the event as an opportunity to network and introduce his style of country-reggae to others in the genre.

Additionally, he visited two of the leading country music studios, where he and their representatives discussed the possibility of future collaborations. He was also featured on Riseup TV’s The Legacy In Motion Tour, held at 3rd & Lindsley on November 7th.

This Nashville stint will be followed by another short media promo tour in the state of Florida. There Wesrok is expected to do interviews and make several public appearances.

For those not in the know, Wesrok is promoting his latest single Perfectly Imperfect, which is now available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, and all other digital music platforms. It comes to us courtesy of his own imprint, 360 Global Entertainment.

Cool Breeze is a laid back reggae track that does several things to its listeners. It relaxes, inspires and entertains.

Penned by songwriter Willow, with direction from the project’s producer Josh HarrisCool Breeze encourages the hearer not to give up, by emphasizing the fact that once there is life there is hope (paraphrasing). The music video was also published along with the audio. It premiered on Reggaeville’s YouTube channel on Friday, November 3rd, which is the project’s official release date.

Cool Breeze credits are as follows: vocals (lead and harmony) done by Pam Hall; bass, keyboard, and samples by Josh Harris; drums by Santa Davis; Guitar by Jallanzo; mixed by Tommi Tikkenen; and mastered by Earle Holder.
