On Christmas Day – Monday, December 25th – Jamaica’s Ministry of Health & Wellness will present A Soul Full Christmas. This is a holiday show with performances by Tessanne Chin, University Singers, The Ashe Company and others.

It will be hosted by Dr. Christopher Tufton, who is promising lots of health advice from industry professionals. The show will air live on TVJ, CVM TV, PBC Jamaica, Radio Jamaica, Love 101 FM, Mellow FM, and all of Dr. Tufton‘s social media platforms, starting at 2PM local time.

Portland Jerk Centre will be ending 2023 with a bang! On Friday, December 29th, they will present the legendary Leroy Sibbles, backed by Redemption Band, live at Di Hip Strip Ultra Lounge on Folly Road in Port Antonio.

Emerging artist Rude Girl Kali, and Rockaway Movements Sound are also on the program. Admission is only $2,000 JMD, and the event will commence at 9:30 PM local time.

Rastafarian reggae artist Fiyaneer – who some may know from his affiliation to the group Kanastone, or from his individual breakout singles: Mama Africa, We Bawl, etc. – has been added to the upcoming Jamaica Reggae Retreat Concert.

Happening on Saturday, April 20th, at Drifters Bar & Lounge in Negril, this event is one of the many highlights of the all-inclusive reggae excursion – Jamaica Reggae Retreat – being hosted by Reggae Vibes Music. In addition to a VIP access to the aforementioned show, from April 18th through to the 22nd, 2024, vacationers on this jaunt will also partake in trips to Dunns River Falls, Bob Marley Museum, Doctor’s Cave Beach, and Smoke Shops in Montego Bay. Next month – on Thursday, January 25th – Jamaican roots-reggae group, The Abyssinians, will be back at Moe’s Alley for a night of live authentic reggae music. The men will share the stage with reggae selectors Boom Draw and DJ Spleece.

The twenty-one and older event will begin at 8:00 PM local time, and there is a $30 entrance fee at the door. Moe’s Alley is located at 1535 Commercial Way in Santa Cruz, California.

Good Vibes Concerts, a Europe based live music promoter, will be hosting reggae artists Jah Mason and Norris Man at Panama Night Club – Oostelijke Handelskade 4 – in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on Friday, January 19, 2024.

KEPD Limited, one of the companies powering the Maroon Festival, has announced the 2024 lineup, which includes Shuga, Fantan Mojah, Duane Stephenson, Lutan Fyah, Warrior King and The Rootz Warriors, with support from the Warrior Love Band.

The organizers are encouraging all Jamaicans to ‘return to their roots’ by attending the event on Saturday, January 6th at the Accompong Maroon Village in the Cockpit Country, St. Elizabeth.

Some of the proceeds from this event will go towards the restoration of the Accompong Clinic which serves over 3,500 people.
