Taddy P, Richie Stephens’ “She Loves Me” Now Available On All Music Platforms

It has been said that ‘all songs sound better on a reggae rhythm’. Taddy P‘s remix of James Ingrams‘ She Loves Me (The Best That I Can Be), is testament to that fact. Performed by singer-songwriter Richie Stephens, the reggae remix, which was officially released on March 29th, is now available on all streaming platforms.

Taddy P‘s years of experience in the industry has given him access to some of the finest musicians in the business. As such, he was able to invite Wayne ‘Unga Barunga’ Thompson to play the drums, and Robert ‘Ricky Dread’ Stephens to add the keyboards. And being a highly respected and accomplished instrumentalist himself, Taddy P not only played the bass, but he also did the lead bass, guitar and even added supplementary keyboard lines.

When asked what he would like listeners to take away from the record, the man affectionately referred to as Bassy said the following: “I would love the song to evoke an amazing feeling of love while enjoying the infectious reggae beat with enchanting  melodies and harmonies.”

Curtela Lewis Steps On The International Stage With Her New Single “Confess”

After winning several music competitions in her hometown of Guyana (Guyana Talent Search, Enigma Entertainment Talent Show, ACDA Best Performer & Vocalist Competition, and Miss Guyana Teen Scholar Pageant), twenty-year-old Curtela Lewis is now eyeing the world stage.

To that end, she has shared a beautiful new reggae song called Confess, and is now getting a lot of attention beyond the borders of her Caribbean country. When asked what inspired the record, the extremely grounded singer said the following: “The inspiration comes from my life experiences and my strong connection with God. Though I’ve faced challenges, I always came out a winner. I believe that is so because I always carry faith in my Father in Heaven, and through these situations he is always showing me that he is in control over my life. I don’t have to worry about the circumstances I get into because in the end God knows who I am and my capabilities and he’ll guide me to where I need to be.”

Confess was produced by accomplished music creator Vijay Deolall, who is also the personal engineer of beloved Guyanese performer Samuel Medas. The drums were played by Josh Splash, keyboards were added by Earl Bishop, and Curtela‘s dad, Curtis Lewis, joined her on the backing vocals. The official video, which was released around the same time as the audio, was shot and edited by Johnny Photography

Confess can be streamed and/or downloaded from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Tidal, and all other digital music platforms. The visuals can be viewed on Curtela Lewis‘ YouTube channel.
