Nesbeth’s New Single “Str888 Nation” Is Already Trending!

Despite his numerous releases, most of which are socially conscious, inspirational, and catchy, when we hear the name Nesbeth, we immediately think about his 2015 breakout megahit song “My Dream.” To be precise, “My Dream” was officially released on October 5th of the above-stated year, but weeks before it came out, it was already buzzing on Jamaica’s underground music scene.

Something similar may be happening with Nesbeth‘s latest tune, “Str888 Nation.” Although this song is already available on streaming platforms (it was published on October 4th, 2024), it is one of the many tunes that is getting a lot of spins, pull-ups, and forwards at local parties and dances nationwide.

On the record, the Rastafarian singer distinguishes himself from some of his colleagues in the industry who may be willing to compromise their integrity for fame and fortune. He sings, “All when a me alone, mi still a stay strong, the world full a hate me no deh ya fi stay long, kill me dead yu know a str888 nation, naa sell me soul, me, love me salvation.”

The trending dancehall track can be streamed and downloaded on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, iTunes, and all other digital music stores where reggae-dancehall is sold.
