Moe’s Alley, located at 1535 Commercial Way in Santa Cruz, California, will host international reggae artist Luciano on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The event begins at 7 p.m. local time and is open to guests aged 21 and over. It is one of the most anticipated reggae shows at the venue this October.

As he continues to spread the message of love, uplift spirits, and energize his many fans across the globe, Luciano engages with his audiences like no other—earning him the unmistakable title of “The Messenjah.” His live performances are breathtaking, and he never fails to give his all.

Initially released as a track on the “Hol a Prayer Riddim”, Lutan Fyah‘s song “World Peace” was just reshared as a standalone single. The timely resharing of this record is particularly significant given the ongoing conflicts in parts of Europe, escalating gang violence in some Caribbean countries, and the forced displacement in the Gaza Strip.

Interestingly, although the “Hol a Prayer Riddim” was published in the fall of 2020—a time when we were grappling with lockdowns and the many uncertainties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic—every word in Lutan Fyah‘s song remains just as relevant today as it was back then. This reality is troubling and demonstrates that Lutan Fyah has always been ahead of his time in terms of his lyrical content.

“World Peace,” an inspirational reggae song fused with R&B, was produced by Everton Augustus Wint, the founder of the independent record label Nanimus Music Ltd. Both the single “World Peace” and the “Hol a Prayer Riddim” compilation are available on Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, and all other major streaming platforms.

The 8th annual Houston Reggae Festival returns on Saturday, October 4, 2025, bringing island energy to the SoHo Festival Grounds at 13711 Almeda School Road. The festival runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and promises a full day of live performances, DJs, and cultural spirit.

This year’s theme, ‘One city, One love, One unforgettable night of culture, music & unity’, captures the event’s mission to bring people together through music. Blakkwuman22 Music has released Incroyable Riddim, a dynamic four-track reggae project blending uplifting messages with diverse artistry. The compilation features three vocal tracks alongside a clean instrumental, all carried by the same infectious rhythm.

Omar Perry, son of the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry, pays tribute to strong women with “Woman You Got It”. Sound System Club and Sound Addicts Live have joined forces to present the Kumingoli Island Bash, a five-day festival set for August 4th to August 8th, 2026, in Cape Maclear, Malawi. The event promises an immersive experience that blends world-class music with cultural showcases and outdoor adventure.

The festival will feature live performances from Jamaican and African artists, including some of Malawi’s most celebrated acts. In addition to the main stage, a cultural stage will spotlight local traditions, while festivalgoers can also enjoy a casino and a wide range of activities such as water sports, bird watching, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, hiking, windsurfing, sunbathing, and paddle boarding.

Among the first confirmed artists is reggae singer Andrew Tosh, son of the legendary Peter Tosh and nephew of Bunny Wailer, both original members of the iconic Wailers. Known for his striking vocal resemblance to his father, Andrew Tosh is expected to deliver some of Peter Tosh’s most timeless songs, making his performance one of the festival’s highlights.

More artists, sound systems, and selectors are set to be announced in the months leading up to the event, building anticipation for what is shaping up to be a standout celebration of music, culture, and natural beauty.
