“Life Scriptures” balances inspiration and conviction. On tracks like “Dreams,” “Never Surrender,” and “You’re Great,” Teflon lifts listeners with messages of hope and determination, underscoring his reputation as an artist who motivates through melody. Junior Kelly has returned with a captivating visual for his powerful single, “Everything,” released in 2021. The veteran reggae artist uses the track to deliver a heartfelt message that cuts through the noise of vanity and materialism, reminding listeners to focus on what truly matters. With humility at its core, the song acknowledges that he owes God “everything,” a theme that resonates with Kelly’s reputation for crafting music grounded in substance and truth.

The single was produced by Josh Harris of Big Feet Records, a label known for collaborating with artists who bring depth and authenticity to the reggae landscape. Harris’ production provides a steady yet soulful backdrop that allows Kelly’s vocal delivery and lyrical intent to shine without distraction. The partnership highlights a balance between traditional reggae elements and a polished modern finish.

The official music video premiered on Reggaeville’s platform on August 15, 2025. Directed by Kevin Campbell, the visual shows Kelly among the youths, singing and reasoning with them in a relaxed, communal setting. Skillfully Family will stage a major fundraising concert at Bob Marley Beach (9 Miles, Bull Bay, St. Andrew) on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The event is dedicated to supporting The Sugar Loaf Peak Nyahbinghi Centre, a cultural and spiritual hub.

Headlining the lineup are well-loved reggae voices Stevie Face and Mikey General, whose powerful performances are expected to set the tone for an inspiring evening. They will be joined by an eclectic mix of talents including Jah Breadz, Twinkle Brain, Empress Thunderous, Mackeehan, Hennessy Fyah, Steady Ranks, Miro Idiallo, Trapaneur, and many others. The event’s host, 1Wyleman, is set to keep the energy high while guiding the audience through a night of roots, culture, and artistry.

Alongside the live showcase, the musical atmosphere will be curated by Kemetic Roots with DJ Fya Locks, supported by guest selector DJ Steamaz. The gates open at 6 p.m., with showtime beginning at 10 p.m. Admission is JMD $2,000, with proceeds directed towards the Nyahbinghi Centre’s ongoing work.

The 2025 Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is in full swing, having opened on August 15 and continuing through September 1 at Exhibition Place in Toronto.
