Cash Global Records Presents “Salvation Riddim”

After sharing the inspirational dancehall single – Dwelling Of The Most High (aka Jesus Dance) – and seeing the favorable reviews it’s been getting, producer and recording artist Rich Kid opted to expand the project by adding other artists to the rhythm. To that end, he worked with G March and popular selector, producer, and radio personality ZJ Rush, to create the Jesus Dance EP, also called Salvation Riddim.

On the up-tempo soca fused beat, Rich Kid, along with his collaborative partner Nadine (who sung the hook on his track) are joined by hardcore dancehall deejays Delomar RDX, General TK, and Great Boss. All songs adhere to the righteous theme initially set by Dwelling Of The Most High, with the exception of General TK‘s song – Mash Up Di Riddim – which is more of a party tune.

The Salvation Riddim (Jesus Dance EP), is on Rich Kid‘s own label – Cash Global Records – which operates out of both Canada and Jamaica.

Ras Kronik Drops New Album “The Energy”

Rastafarian reggae artist Ras Kronik continues to bless us with his dynamic sound. He is back with his third studio album – The Energy – released on August 18th via Pandemic Records & Entertainment LLC., the imprint co-owned and operated by him and his brother Sheldon Edwards

The Energy features a collection of reggae and dancehall songs, with one surprising soca/afrobeat tune (track #6, This Morning). It has a total of twelve tracks and only one collaboration, which is Fyah Burn, done with veteran reggae artist Turbulence.

The overarching theme of this record however, is clearly Ras Kronik‘s Rastafarian faith and lifestyle. Outside of a couple of love songs – that were undoubtedly done for his female fanbase – most of the tunes are centered around survival, peace, determination, unity, spirituality, etc.

Producers and beatmakers that contributed to this body of work are Mr. Mig, Ricky Dread, Trixx Anthony Tenyue, Sheldon and Everton Edwards. When asked what inspired the album, Ras Kronik simply said: “Love, love is the inspiration behind the Energy.”
