Tracks Live Session Returns With I-Wayne

Usain Bolt’s Tracks & Records is bringing back the wildly popular Tracks Live Session! The show, which will be hosted by Kamila McDonald, returns on December 13 with performances by I-Wayne and Ras-I.

Starting time is 9:00 PM and there is a $2,500 JMD admission fee. This conscious wave event is being presented by Red Stripe.

North Coast Music, Comedy & Food Festival

Start the new year at the North Coast Music, Comedy and Food Festival, happening at Turtle River Park in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on January 1st, 2024. In addition to a wide variety of food choices, this event will also feature a slew of musical acts, as well as some of Jamaica’s best standup comics.

Performing live are: Comedian Lemon, Acid, Professor Nuts, Stain Rapidburst, Dawk9ine, Minister Kukudoo, Jemini, Pretty Boy Floyd, Pablo YG, Hilarious Granny, and many more. General admission is $2,500 JMD in advance, and $3,500 at the gate.

“Big Up Miss Lou” With Oliver Samuels, Fab 5 & Others

The Louise Bennett Coverly Festival, in collaboration with Jamaica College, present a fun-filled family show honoring Jamaican poet, folklorist, writer, and educator, Louise Bennett, affectionately referred to as Miss Lou.

The event, which is titled Big Up Miss Lou, features Oliver Samuels, Fab 5, Lillian Allen, Owen ‘Blakka’ Ellis, Tania Lou, Charmaine Limonious, Joy Fairclough, Kathy Brown, Kingston Rock, and more. The MCs are Janet Silvera and Coleen Douglas.

It all goes down on Saturday, December 9th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium (Jamaica College) on Old Hope Road in Kingston. Admission fee for adults is $5,000 JMD; while students and seniors will pay $2,500.

Sip N Link With Warrior King

Jorja Events Media and Alpha Studios, in association with 22 Jerk, present a night of live music called Sip N Link. It stars Warrior King and The Rootz Warriors, along with Jayedge The Jamaican Singer, Rayven Amani and Mission Driven.

Sip N Link is set for Saturday, December 9th at 22 Jerk, which is located on Barbican Road in Kingston, JA. The show will start at 7:00 PM local time, and there’ll be a $3,000 JMD entrance fee at the gate.

Bounty Killer Added To “Fight The Fight” EP Launch & Stage Show

This past Monday, Sheldon Edwards – the co-founder of Pandemic Records & Entertainment LLC – announced that one of dancehall’s living legends, Bounty Killer, has been added to Jah Lama‘s upcoming EP Launch & Stage Show. The event, dubbed Fight the Fight, will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Stafton Block Factory – located on Mullett Hall Road – in Chapleton, Clarendon, Jamaica.

Bounty Killer, who also answers to the monikers Warlord, Five Star General, Ghetto Gladiator, and Poor People’s Governor, rose to prominence in the 1990s, and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. He practically dominated the dancehall industry in the late 90s and early 2000s, and continues to record and release hit songs today.

His addition to Fight the Fight EP Launch & Stage Show has been met with excitement and jubilation by potential patrons who reside in Chapleton, Clarendon and the surrounding areas. Killer will now join Turbulence, Little Hero, and a host of other celebrated artists already on the lineup.

Reunion Of The Kings (Florida & New York)

Big Dreamz Promotions – an entertainment company dedicated to providing the best Caribbean experiences on both the east and west coasts in the U.S. – will present Reunion of the Kings, two live shows featuring several legendary reggae and dancehall acts.

The first concert will be at The Garden – 4340 North State Road 7 – in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida on December 22nd; while the other event will be on December 24th at the Compound – 190-01 Linden Blvd. – in Queens, New York.

On the lineup are Josey Wales, Brigadier Jerry, Little John, Professor Nuts, Courtney Melody, and Willow Wilson. Confirmed selectors are: DJ King Waggy-T, DJ Radcliffe, C Roy ‘The Entertainer’, and Jah Wise.
