A few days ago Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Nneka shared a new song and video, and at the same time announced the official release date for her upcoming album, Love Supreme. The highly anticipated LP, which will have a total of thirteen songs, will go live on February 11th, 2022.

R&B and soul singer / songwriter Macy Gray has just announced that she will be doing three back to back concerts starting on the December 30th and ending on January 1st at the Iridium – 1650 Broadway – in New York.

The 2021 Soul Train Awards was all about celebrating the absolute best in soul, R&B and hip-hop. The ceremony was held at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York and it aired on BET on Sunday night. Below is a list of this year’s winners.

At the end of November, Macy Gray & The California Jet Club released The Disco Song Remixes. The EP has eight tracks and features Jhonni Blaze and Maiya Sykes.

Gray, who is the co-founder of My Good – an organization created to help families who have lost loved ones due to police brutality – has made it known that proceeds from all streams of The Disco Song Remixes will go to My Good.

On Martin Luther King holiday weekend – Friday, January 14th – the 2022 R&B Rewind concert will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

It will feature live performances by some of rhythm and blues’ heavy-weights, namely: Charlie Wilson, Boyz II Men, Monica, Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, Soul For Real, Ruff Endz and Rome. Tickets for this event are available via ticketmaster.
