Xscape, Sammie, Scrappy & Others Will Perform At Domaine Atlanta Tonight!

One of the biggest Thanksgiving parties will be at Domaine – 1150 Crescent Avenue – in Northeast Atlanta, GA tonight! This is a live hip-hop and RnB concert that will feature Sammie, Pleasure P, Xscape, Scrappy, Bobby V, Rasheeda and several others; with host DJ Aone.

At the beginning of November American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys released her 9th studio album; a Christmas record titled Santa Baby. The eleven-track project was published exclusively on Apple Music (iTunes), and it features four original songs and seven covers of popular Christmas carols.

Femme It Forward Presents Boyz II Men, Dru Hill & 112 In Mashantucket, CT This Friday

Femme It Forward, in partnership with Live Nation, will present one of their Serenade shows this Friday, November 25th. Boyz II Men, Dru Hill and 112 will perform at Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Premier Theater – 39 Norwich Westerly Road – in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

The Serenade concert series was created to show that men celebrate women too. To that end, various male artists (Eric Benét, New Edition’s Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Morris Day, Donell Jones, Musiq Soulchild etc.) have been headlining several shows across the U.S. since the beginning of autumn.

On Friday, December 30, the Arena Theatre – in Houston, Texas – will present the smooth sultry sounds of Lalah Hathaway, who returns by popular demand. She will be joined by the soulful Kenny Lattimore and Avery Sunshine. This is a night of pure soul that’s schedule to begin at 8:30pm.

Newark, NJ: Experience A Night of Jazz, Hip-Hop & Spoken Word On Nov. 19

For one night (Saturday, November 19), NJPAC’s City Verses program will unite the leading voices in jazz, hip-hop and poetry at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ.

The legendary lineup includes rap stars Rakim (Paid in Full), Speech (Arrested Development), Chuck D (Public Enemy), Black Thought (The Roots) and Dupré ‘DoItAll’ Kelly (Lords of The Underground); award-winning poets and spoken word performers Nikki Giovanni, Jessica Care Moore, Sean Battle, Mayor Ras Baraka and The Last Poets (Abiodun Oyewole, Umar Bin Hassan, Babadon Babatunde).

The program also includes jazz greats Ravi Coltrane and Javon Jackson; as well as musical director (and NJPAC jazz advisor) Christian McBride and A Christian McBride Situation. Get tickets here.
