As they have done in the past, the team at Reach Records continue to put their Faith and unworldly lifestyle on full display. To that end, they have announced part two of their We Are Unashamed Tour.

All the artists that are currently signed to the imprint will be on the lineup: Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii, 1K Phew, WHATUPRG, Wande, Hulvey and Lecrae. Although the tour kicks off in early August and runs through mid September, tickets for all dates can be purchased now via the unashamed-tour website.

For the 49th time, Ingalls Development Foundation – a board that connects donors with philanthropic investment opportunities in order to transform community medicine – will host its annual benefit gala on Saturday, June 25th. The location is the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois.

The legendary party, which is done with a purpose, will feature the illustrious singer and songwriter Chaka Khan, whose career exceeds five decades. Get tickets here.

As Black Girls Rock Fest will be collaborating with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) for the very first time, it made sense to invite soul singer and guitarist India.Arie to be this year’s headliner.

It’s slated for June 30th and July 1st, 2022, at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall (Washington, D.C.), with multi-award-winning conductor and arranger Dr. Henry Panion III at the helm. Delicious food and unforgettable entertainment are what’s in store for patrons of the 2022 Essence Festival Of Culture this Summer. Set for June 30th to July 3rd, the festival will take place at different venues in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Evening concerts will be at the Caesars Superdome; this does not not include the Essence After Dark shows. However, most of the daytime programming will go down at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The lineup is as follows: Kevin Hart (Thursday); Beenie Man, Machel Montano, Nicki Minaj, Kes and Mikey Guyton (Friday); Janet Jackson, Jazmine Sullivan, Summer Walker, Carl Thomas, Stephanie Mills, Lucky Daye and D-Nice and friends (Saturday); and finally, New Edition, Isley Brothers, Method Man, Tems, City Girls, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Wizkid, The Roots and friends (Sunday).

Mr Eazi Shares First Single & Video From His Debut Album

Afro star Mr Eazi has just shared Legalize, the first single from his forthcoming debut album, and one of his most personal tracks to date.

Produced by an international team of Michael Brun (Haiti/USA), E Kelly (Nigeria) and Nonso Amadi (Nigeria/Canada), Legalize and its accompanying video, celebrate Eazi’s love for his fiancée, the Nigerian actress Temi Otedola. The couple were engaged in April when Mr Eazi proposed while shooting the video in Venice, Italy.

That city’s famously romantic canals, bridges and architectural gems form the backdrop of the luxe Legalize video, directed by Italy’s Federico Mazzarisi. Notable landmarks used in the making of the clip include the Ca’ Sagredo Hotel and the Punta Della Dogana and Palazzo Grimani museums.

On Saturday, June 18th from 11am to 6pm, thousands will gather to commemorate Juneteenth at 1330 Fillmore Street in San Francisco’s historic Fillmore District!

The Feel Mo’Betta R&B Block Party will star soul singers Pleasure P, K Michelle, Eric Bellinger, Keith Washington and many more. Although this is a free event, the organizers would still like guests to RSVP.

According to his team, the visuals were designed to tell the story of Trip Lee‘s long anticipated comeback, his journey, and the intention behind each project.
