On September 14th, Ja Rule will go up against Fat Joe in the popular Verzuz competition. The live clash is scheduled to take place in New York; and persons may purchase tickets starting on Tuesday, Sept. 7th.
This will be the first Verzuz since The Lox and Dipset hit the stage last month. It will stream live on the Triller App, FITE TV and the Verzuz Instagram account.
At the end of July, Raw Tactics Records, an Australian based musical imprint that’s focused on electronic dance music, released Vibe Machine. The song, which was initially shared to help listeners get through the lockdowns that were in effect at the time, is now getting heavy rotation in areas where restrictions have since eased.
Vibe Machine is produced by popular DJs / producers Tigs and Dubzta, with dancehall artist Peppery delivering the vocals. Persons have described the tune as a modern house track fused with Caribbean sounds. On the beat, Peppery who is the quintessential lyricist lamented on his desire to party, while encouraging women of all races to join him. The song was mastered by Klaus Heavyweight Hill (Australia) and the vocals were processed by Zemon.
Never being one to rest, Peppery is now focused on his next project, which is the Restart Riddim being produced by Jamaican label Blakkwuman22 Music. He is currently writing for the compilation that is slated to be released this Fall.
Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Belly just released his studio album, See You Next Wednesday. The fifteen-track album, which is on the Roc Nation label, features collaborations with: The Weeknd, Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo, Nas, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, and Benny The Butcher.

At the end of August, on the 27th to be precise, Chronixx released a new song titled Freedom Fighter. On top of a slow hip-hop beat, the Spanish Town singer encourages listeners to free themselves, while also disparaging world leaders and governments.

On August 24th, Atlantic Recording artist Burna Boy shared a new song and video titled Question. The reigning king of Afro music went hard on this track, delivering what many are already calling another hit. The song is collaboration done with another heavy hitter in the African music industry; Don Jazzy.

A few days ago AZ shared a single, The Wheel, from his upcoming album, Doe or Die II. The new track is getting a lot of buzz, in-part because it is a collaboration done with veteran R&B artist Jahiem.
In recent years Jahiem has been portrayed in a negative light in the media. Persons were concerned about his health (both mental and physical), so it was refreshing to see him deliver a strong performance on The Wheel.
