On Thursday, November 14th, Lupe Fiasco will be live at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (2700 F St NW) in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a part of his ‘Food & Liquor Tour.’

Yasiin Bey To Host Listening Session At The Brooklyn Museum On Nov. 15th

On November 15th, Yasiin Bey will host a 28 minute listening session dubbed Negus. It consist of 8 compositions recorded in London in 2015, which were produced by Lord Tusk, Steven Julien and Acyde. Curated by Lauren Zelaya, this is the first time the recording will be heard in the United States and will debut in Bey’s hometown of Brooklyn.

Negus is presented as an immersive sound installation that can only be experienced in person. The recording is unavailable for purchase via digital or physical platforms. Yasiin Bey designed the multi-track recording as an installation to encourage people to be fully present while listening to it.

Jadakiss Releases Short Film to Promote His New Single “ME” (@Therealkiss)

On October 18th, Jadakiss (1/3 of the legendary hip-hop group The Lox) released a short film titled ME. The visuals show actors Peter Greene and Hassan Johnson as well as Jadakiss involved in a robbery and then an internal act of betrayal.
