Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter, Co-Founder and Lead MC/Singer of The Legendary Roots Crew, presents Reflections, a four-day multimedia curation at National Sawdust. Trotter will explore various concepts, people, and creative works central to his identity through a curated set of performers, spanning a wide range of styles.
Critically acclaimed musicians, singers, visual artists and more, will converge onstage alongside Trotter. With a different set of performers each night, the series offers four completely distinct yet equally dynamic and emotional experiences.

On Monday, September 30th, Koffee will perform on one of America’s biggest night time TV program, The Tonight Show, with host Jimmy Fallon and the popular Roots Crew.
The show airs week nights at 11:35 PM EST on the NBC network.
The High Hopes Festival and Summit is a three-day event dedicated to celebrating the cannabis industry. It will be held on October 20-22 at the Pershing Square Park in Los Angeles, California.

After releasing his reggae EP – The Mystikal Yute – a few weeks ago, Toronto lyricist, Tha Vor, is now setting his sights on a hip-hop EP. The project, which he’s hoping to have ready in November, will be called “How to Make a Monster.”
Similar to his reggae EP, “How to Make a Monster” will feature approximately five songs. Additionally, It will showcase Tha Vor‘s lyrical depth, as he’s known for his thought provoking content. It goes without saying that his current trending single, Star Wars, will be featured on the EP.
It is always awesome when hip-hop and reggae collide on the same track! On this occasion it is even more special because of who the artists are: respected New Jersey MC Redman and U.S. Virgin Islands’ reggae singer Pressure Busspipe.
