In the just concluded swearing-in ceremony for Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, gospel singer Kevin Downswell delivered an energetic, spirit-filled performance in front of a small audience.
The Minister’s presence was specifically requested by the newly elected PM, who wanted Downswell to sing “Carry Me” and “You Make Me Stronger.”
As the world struggles with numerous issues: the covid-19 pandemic, racial injustice, economic collapse etc. Dante Bowe and Amanda Lindsey Cook thought it prudent to remind us all that in spite of the times we are living in, it will “Be Alright.”

Lecrae‘s latest album, “Restoration,” released at the end of August, is truly an inspirational body of work. The artist gives us fourteen tracks, each taking us on its own unique journey in terms of the story it tells, the message it gives and the lyrical flow.
“Restoration” is labelled as a hip-hop / gospel album and Lecrae uses it to explain how Christ has restored him, as he battles with all the negativity associated with being rich and famous.

Since 2016, Jamaican born Florida based reggae gospel artist, Derrick Scott, has been hosting the Mission Ablaze Concert.
This is an annual event that’s generally held around the first or second week in November. In normal times, Derrick would take the stage with his seven piece band and three harmony singers, all in front of a robust crowd.
Regretfully, due to the COVID19 pandemic many changes must be made for the 2020 staging. Though the show will go on, for this year it will be streamed live online, and in keeping with social distance protocols, Derrick Scott will perform on tracks as oppose to with his band.
