Dancehall artist Laden has teamed up with producer Di Genius, the son of reggae legend Freddie McGregor, to release a laid-back, captivating new single titled “My Place”.

Shared on September 14, Laden uses the track to celebrate his community, acknowledging that although he is renowned worldwide, he remains humble and committed to the neighborhood from which he came. Simple as it may seem, this is notable because we often hear stories of accomplished artists who are either unable or unwilling to return to their old communities once they’ve become successful.

Reggae takes center stage this fall as Big Mike The Ruler presents Reggae Rewind on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, a venue known for hosting some of the region’s most anticipated concerts.

The lineup brings together some of the biggest names in reggae and dancehall. Fans can look forward to performances from Mr. Vegas, Gyptian, Kevin Lyttle, Serani, and the duo Tanto Metro & Devonte. The Cannabliss Festival is gearing up to deliver an unforgettable experience on Saturday, October 4th, at Victoria Park on Grenville Street in Kingstown, St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Music lovers are in for a treat as two of Jamaica’s most iconic dancehall artists, Beenie Man and Spragga Benz, are confirmed to headline the highly anticipated event.

The show kicks off at 8 p.m., promising an evening filled with pure energy and nonstop entertainment. Fans can expect Beenie and Spragga to bring their signature hits, electrifying stage presence, and the kind of vibes that have made them legends in the dancehall arena.

Reggae Fest returns to Miami Carnival on Saturday, October 11, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. at the Wynwood Marketplace Festival Stage.

The highlight of the night will be a live performance from none other than the “Energy King” himself, Elephant Man, whose explosive stage presence is guaranteed to keep the crowd moving.
