Initially, Wray & Nephew’s ‘Yesterday – The Best Of The 90s Christmas Party’ was only to feature music by selectors Kurt Riley, DJ Marvin, ZJ Liquid, and Marc Chin. However, the organizers have since added one of the most commercially and critically successful contemporary reggae artists of this generation, Sizzla Kalonji.

‘Yesterday – The Best Of The 90s Christmas Party’ will be held on Saturday, December 21, at Mas Camp in Kingston, Jamaica. The gates will open at 9:00 p.m., and tickets can be purchased on Caribtix.

Sizzla Kalonji continues to utilize his remarkable talent to disseminate positive messages globally, as evidenced in his latest single, “Shine The Light.” This composition underscores the significance of revisiting the teachings of our ancestors, a theme that resonates deeply within Sizzla‘s music. Featured on the newly released New World Order Riddim, published on November 29 by Armz House Records, this track exemplifies Sizzla‘s ongoing commitment to cultural and spiritual enlightenment.

In “Shine The Light,” Sizzla‘s versatility is prominently showcased. The Jamaican Rastafarian artist seamlessly incorporates elements of rap into the track while employing an American accent, demonstrating his adaptability across genres. The 2025 Jammin’ Music Festival will take place on January 18 at the Figali Convention Center in Fort Amador, Panama City, Panama. The event will feature popular Jamaican reggae-dancehall artists Capleton and Demarco, as well as beloved selector Kurt Riley.

Reggae and dancehall enthusiasts continue to show their love and support for Lt. Stitchie. They have announced another fundraising benefit concert for the dancehall governor. This one will be on Sunday, December 1st, at the JCC (995 Arrow Road) in North York, Ontario.

The incredible lineup features Exco Levi, Iley Dread, Tiffani Malvo, Kairo McLean, Sample King, Empress Minott, Lazah Current, Donna Makeda, George P, and Winston Paddy, and that is just to name a few.
