Lutan Fyah To Perform At Tipsy HQ In London This Thursday

Reggae artist Lutan Fyah will be making a special guest appearance at the popular Tipsy Thursdays event, at Tipsy headquarters in London, UK, on December 12th.

Lutan will be supported by Ras Iwhan, Swagtagg and Ricardo Rawal. Additionally, selectors English Fire, Platinum UK, Andrew Fresh and Gansta Kid will be on hand to provide more music.

Quality Releases Braggadocious New Dancehall Single “Caan Dem”

A few days ago Sekimhaj Records leading artist, Quality, dropped a gloating new dancehall single titled “Caan Dem.” The record is all about him acknowledging his musical achievements thus far, while simultaneously announcing his plans to leave his mark in the reggae-dancehall industry.

Though the song was written by label owner Michael Reynolds, Quality delivered it masterfully, showing off his vocal range and proving to listeners that he is able to carry out his plans.

Big Youth, Yellow Man & Others Confirmed For Roots FM’s Oldies Party Tonight!

Kingston, Jamaica’s community radio station, Roots FM, will be having their Flashback Party – Reggae & Soul Edition, tonight, Friday, December 6th. It will be held at Curphey Place (South Avenue) in Kingston 5.

In addition to music from several Roots FM DJs there will also be live performances from a slew of established reggae and dancehall artists. The lineup includes: Thriller U, Mary Isaacs, Big Youth, Yellow Man, Boris Gardener, and that is just to name a few.

Kenya’s Umoja Splash Festival, which is scheduled for tomorrow, December 7th at 2 PM, is being called the Chris Martin and friends concert because of Kenyans eagerness to see the big deal singer. The lineup also includes D Major and Future Fambo from Jamaica, as well as some local entertainers.

The event will be held at the Impala Grounds (Ngong’ Raod) in Nairobi, Kenya.
