Much is being made about the confirmation of the hip-hop teacher KRS-One to the upcoming Rock The Bells Festival, and rightfully so. KRS-One rose to prominence as part of the rap group Boogie Down Productions, which he formed with DJ Scott La Rock in the mid-1980s, and he has been considered an integral part of America’s hip-hop culture ever since.

This year’s Rock The Bells Festival is set for Saturday, June 28, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
