On June 30th, Agent Sasco (formerly Assassin) took to social media to announce the inaugural staging of the event. He wrote:

“In the summer of 1999, at 16 yrs old and with a year of sixth form ahead, I met @spraggabenz3 for the first time at Penthouse Recording Studio who jokingly told Donavan Germain, “Germain, da yute ya wah dj fi him summer holiday”. This basically signaled the start of my professional journey as an artiste and this summer makes it 25 years.
