Jamaican producer and singer Higher Purse has just released two new singles from his record label, Russcuttaz Music. One is a dancehall track titled For Di Goal, which is performed by Ras Index, and the other is a remix of one of his – Higher Purse‘s – previously published songs, Bitter Sweet Love.
Ras Index is an independent artist who is known and respected, especially in the streets of Kingston (Jamaica), for the unique way in which he writes and performs his songs. His somewhat eccentric style can be heard on this new record, which is all about him forcefully pursuing his dreams. He cleverly goes back and forth between rapping and chanting and does it in such a way that commands the attention of the listener.
Higher Purse‘s Bitter Sweet Love was initially shared many years ago. As the name implies, it’s a love song, and one that did very well for the recording artist turned producer. Having been away from the music industry for some time, Higher Purse opted to remake Bitter Sweet Love and use it to reintroduce himself upon his return.
Both songs went live on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, and all other streaming platforms at the end of June, and as such, they are now available for download.
