Grammy Award-winning gospel music icon Kirk Franklin released his highly anticipated double album, I Am What I Am, on October 30, 2026, through Uptown Records. The 14-track project showcases two sides of his musical artistry, pairing contemporary studio recordings with live performances rooted in traditional gospel.

The album features an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Davido, GloRilla, Jelly Roll, Tobe Nwigwe, Karen Clark Sheard and Tim Rogers. Blending gospel, hip-hop, R&B and Afrobeats influences, the project explores themes of faith, personal growth, vulnerability and self-acceptance.
