Jamaican reggae singer Tarrus Riley delivers an interesting message about love and relationships in his latest single, “Red Flags,” released through Young Blood Records on October 2, 2026. The official music video premiered on his YouTube channel a few days later, on October 22.
Exploring the warning signs, emotions and realities of relationships, the song encourages listeners to pay attention to the issues that can easily be overlooked in the name of love.
In the official video, Riley takes on the role of a therapist during couples counselling sessions, where a visibly frustrated woman listens as her partner repeatedly attempts to explain himself. Another scene features the singer performing in front of what appears to be an enormous red flag, reinforcing the song’s central message.
“Red Flags” invites listeners to reflect on their own relationships and consider whether they are recognizing the signs or choosing to ignore them.
