ONE SOUND: A Fine Arts Experience will take place on June 26 at The Gathering Place DC in Capitol Heights, Maryland, bringing together worshippers, creatives, choirs, musicians, dancers, and believers for an evening centered on faith and worship.

The event, which begins at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.), will feature special guests Nadja Scott & Divine Anointing, Brittney Hall, Leah Clark Leach, Jeremiah Hicks, and JJ Hairston. Participating ministries include Impact One Church, Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church, and Reid Temple AME Church.

Admission and registration are free, and the event is open to the public.

Owings Mills to Host Free Afro Cultural Festival Headlined by Mr. Easy

Five Star Women of Color, Inc. is bringing a free, full-day celebration of African and Caribbean culture to the Baltimore area this summer. The Afro Cultural Festival — formerly known as the Afro Soul Festival — will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12 PM to 6 PM at New Town High School, located at 4931 New Town Blvd, Owings Mills, MD.

The event is headlined by reggae star Mr. Easy, who will be joined by Mr. Big Energy, Cana Baye Fall, Duafe, Image Band, Pitar, and KXMS. Musical juggling will be provided by DJ Triggah and Superstar DJ Taf.

Yellowman and Sika Rlion Confirmed for Festival d’Été in Paris

Veteran dancehall icon Yellowman will headline an evening of reggae music at Le Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, France, on July 10, 2026, as part of the venue’s Festival d’Été. Backed by The Upper Cut, the legendary entertainer will perform many of the songs that have made him one of reggae and dancehall’s most influential figures, including the classic hit “Zungguzungguguzungguzeng.”

Joining the lineup is rising Afro-Reggae artist Sika Rlion from Réunion Island, who will deliver a special DJ set. Known for blending Trap, Reggae, R&B and elements of traditional Maloya music, Sika Rlion has been gaining attention for her distinctive sound and bilingual lyrics in French and Creole.

The event, produced by Sauvage Productions, takes place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
