SheltaRock and Yahdeen Essence Introduce ‘The Freedom Project’ as a Statement of Renewal

The Freedom Project marks a pivotal moment for two voices in reggae, introducing SheltaRock—formerly known as Karamanti—under her redefined artistic identity, while also celebrating Yahdeen Essence’s first release since officially joining the Blakkwuman22 Music label. For both artists, the project stands as a declaration of renewal, creative independence, and personal evolution.

At the core of the release are two distinct reggae tracks, each titled Freedom, offering deeply personal interpretations of the theme. For SheltaRock, the record captures her journey of stepping away from commercially driven music and returning to the industry with renewed purpose, authenticity, and a clear sense of direction. It reflects a liberation not just in sound, but in spirit.

Yahdeen Essence’s contribution tells a parallel story of transition and empowerment. Following her departure from a previous management deal with a Canadian company, her new alignment with Blakkwuman22 Music represents a strategic and creative reset. Her Freedom speaks to reclaiming control and forging a path on her own terms.

Together, these tracks serve as the lead singles from the forthcoming Freedom Riddim, currently in production, and set the tone for what promises to be a powerful compilation.

The reggae rhythm for The Freedom Project was crafted by Lamar Thompson exclusively for Blakkwuman22 Music. All tracks were expertly mixed by AudioTraxx Production and mastered by Blakkwuman22 Music.

The Freedom Project is distributed by Blakkwuman22 Music and is now available on all major streaming platforms.
