Skinny Fabulous to Headline Miramar’s 5th Annual Afro-Carib Festival

The City of Miramar has announced the 5th Annual Afro-Carib Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, the event, which serves as a dual celebration of Black History Month and Reggae Month, will be held at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater.

Hosted by Commissioner Carson “Eddy” Edwards, the evening promises a high-energy atmosphere with a headline performance by renowned artist Skinny Fabulous. Doors are set to open at 5:00 PM, with the official showtime beginning at 6:00 PM.

While the festival is a free ticketed event for general admission, attendees are encouraged to plan their arrival in advance. Prepaid parking is available for $12.50 to ensure a smooth entry process for the anticipated crowds. Those interested in securing their spot can visit AfroCaribFestMiramar.com for tickets and further information.

The initiative is supported by the City of Miramar’s leadership, including Mayor Wayne M. Messam, Vice Mayor Yvette Colbourne, and Commissioners Maxwell B. Chambers and Avril Cherasard. Through the collaborative efforts of the Broward County Cultural Division and MiramarTV, the festival underscores the city’s commitment to its motto: “We Listen. We Care. We Serve.”
