Next month, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (New York) will vibrate with the music of three hip-hop legends: M.O.P., Pharoahe Monch, and Talib Kweli. These MCs will take the stage on Wednesday, July 3rd, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pharoahe Monch‘s seminal album “Internal Affairs”.
Released in 1999, “Internal Affairs” was Pharoahe Monch‘s solo debut following his work with Organized Konfusion. The album cemented his reputation as a lyrical genius, with intricate rhyme schemes and vivid storytelling that set him apart from his peers.
