Oliver Samuels Launches His Official Website

Beloved Jamaican comedian Oliver Samuels has finally launched his official website. He made the announcement via social media a few days ago, at the beginning of November, on the 4th. That said, the new online home of Jamaica’s king of comedy is oliver-samuels.com.

Samuels earned the title as the Jamaican king of comedy in the early 90s when he starred in the hit TV series Oliver at Large. Despite not having a regular televised show since then, he remains Jamaica’s comedian, and at age 76 he is still performing both stand-up and comic theater.

Reggae Artists Rad Dixon & Talee Have The “Right Portion” For Valentine’s Day (@rad_dixon)

As Valentine’s Day draws near, reggae recording artist Rad Dixon is sharing the second single from his recently released album, Hard Times. The track is titled Right Portion, a love song done with Portmore singer Talee. On the record both performers go back and forth expressing their undying love and desire for the each other, while proclaiming their partner has the Right Portion.

Tasjay Production, the imprint on which the album and all its subsequent singles are being published, just uploaded the official lyric video to YouTube. However, prior to the visuals being shared, Right Portion was already getting consistent rotation on reggae platforms. With that in mind – and as we are in the season of love – one can only assume that its feature on reggae medias will now increase exponentially.

Powered Tasjay ProductionsHard Times is a flawless, solid, roots-reggae album, that touches on varying topics: social issues, relationships, spirituality and creativity. It went live on all streaming platforms on new year’s day, 2023.
