Deitrick Haddon & Sherwin Gardner Will Perform In Jamaica On Sept. 30th

Deitrick Haddon, the American gospel singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, record producer, pastor, and actor; and Trinidadian gospel reggae artist Sherwin Gardner, will both join a slew of Jamaica’s top-tier gospel performers for a Gospel Celebration like no other.

Presented by Charvette Distribution Limited, in association with New Vision Faith Apostolic Ministries, the event, which is to take place on Saturday, September 30th, will be held at Sugarman Beach (on the lawn) in Hellshire, Portmore. Starting time is 6pm sharp.

In addition to the aforementioned guests, the lineup will also include Petra-Kaye, Lucas Musiq, Kevin Downswell, Sister Patt, Levy’s Heritage, Michal Malaki, Sueshawna, Anthon Johnson, Minister Howdy, Pastor Crystal Maye, and Keron Clarke. Entrance fee is $4,500 JMD.

Von Won’s Story

Von Won was born in St. Croix – one of the U.S. Virgin Islands – and raised on the Southeast side of Houston, Texas. His ministry and music career has granted him opportunities to appear nationally on MTV, Daystar, and FOX News, as well as on local television and radio stations in the city of Houston.

In 2014 he released an album called Grace Still Abides, on which he collaborated with Scarface, Bun B and Paul Wall. The successful record debuted at #26 on the Gospel Billboard Chart. Since then he has been featured on various projects spearheaded by other artists. His latest independent release is Why Should I Run, a combination done with motivational speaker Dr. Eric Thomas. When he is not busy making music, Von Won can be found pastoring at Space City Church, while simultaneously building the Grown & Saved brand, and running his own creative marketing agency, Urban Eye Media.

He has encountered countless challenges in his life, but continues to overcome, so much so that he has emerged as a voice of inspiration to many. He is a loving husband, and a proud father of four, with a vision of spreading a message of hope worldwide.

JON Festival 2023

Lecrae, KB, Hulvey, and Chandler Moore from Maverick City, are all confirmed for the upcoming JON Festival at the Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT) Park – 300 Coventry Road – in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). Scheduled for Sunday, October 15, 2023, the event will also feature emerging gospel ensemble Dunamis District.

When The Levites Gather

On Saturday, September 30, Canadian Juno Award nominee, gospel artist and worship leader, Londa Larmond, will host a Praise & Worship Workshop at Kingdom House Christian Centre – 40 Holtby Avenue – in Brampton, Ontario.

The two-part event was conceptualized for worship leaders, praise team singers, praise team musicians and production teams. The morning segment will start at 9am, with a break at 2:30pm; and will then restart at 6:30pm.

Catch Shirley Caesar Live In Melbourne, FL. On Oct. 6th

Chic Entertainment Presents ‘Gospel Explosion 2023’

On Saturday, October 21st, Chic Entertainment will present the 2023 staging of Gospel Explosion, at Judah Church – 7649 West Colonial Drive – in Orlando, Florida. There will be live performances by Jermaine Edwards, Sister Arlene, Stacy Elevated Wilson, Sister Prudence Williams, Saskie Smith, and Kukudoo.

In addition to the explosive live music, the event will also have lots of refreshments and door prizes. Tickets are going for $40 (for adults), and $15 for children under twelve. Starting time is 7pm sharp.

Efizzy Nite Is Back!

Last year, the organizers of Efizzy Nite – a concert created for young believers – served up a praise fest like no other. They invited Tye Tribbett to the GTA, and they’re once again gearing up to welcome some major gospel acts to the House of Praise – 3105 Dixie Road – in Mississauga, Ontario.

For 2023 they have split the event in two, the first will be on September 29th, and the second on October 8th. The September staging will feature Naomi Raine, Tim Bowman Jr. & Faith City Music; while in October they will present Limoblaze and Calledout Music.
