On Thursday, December 12th, R&B / soul singer Kenny Lattimore will do two back to back shows at the City Winery (609 Lafayette Street) in Nashville, Tennessee. The early show will start at 7:00 PM CST, while the late show is scheduled for 10:00 PM CST.

Dancing continues to take center-stage within the dancehall community, as Ding Dong and his team drops the video for their latest dance move, “Ravers Rock.” The visuals, which features Qraig Voicemail, Ding Dong, Donte Ravers and other members from the Ravers Clavers, was officially released on November 24.

Appleton Estate presents ‘Live at the Estate’, an event dedicated to dinner and live entertainment, on Saturday, December 7th. This will all go down at the Joy Spence Appleton Estate in Siloah, St. Elizabeth.
The featured performer for the evening will be iconic reggae artist Freddie McGregor.
For over two decades, Kirk Franklin has been one of the most prominent voices in gospel music. His unique way of combining hip-hop, pop, R&B and gospel has garnered him fans across multiple genres.
That being said, on Tuesday, December 10th he will be live at DPAC (123 Vivian St) in Durham, North Carolina. Tickets for this event is available via Ticketmaster.
So I just checked out Koffee‘s new video with Gunna, titled “W.” Initially the plan was to watch the video and simply write a brief article letting people know that it’s out so they can go view it.
Alas, after watching it I became a bit troubled as I struggled to understand the meaning behind it. The video starts with Koffee in church and a pastor preaching. It then showed clips of the news warning of a storm, while people run around as they get prepared for it. Additionally, and this is very important, there are some close up shots of people dressed in their church attire sprinkled throughout.
The aforementioned can be found pretty early in the video; what concerns me is that as we get deeper into the visuals the energy shifts, moving from what started out positive, spiritual etc. to negative and dark with everyone flashing money, including the pastor.
Now for the sake of full transparency I will say that I am not a religious person at all, but I was raised to have respect and reverence for churches and houses of worship. That being said, to see the director go that route with the video was really disturbing.

A few days ago Alicia Keys shared the official video for her feel good R&B track, “Time Machine.” Released on the RCA Records label (a division of Sony Music Entertainment), “Time Machine” does exactly what the name implies; it takes us back to a different time when the world was not so chaotic and people didn’t need much to enjoy themselves.

After overcoming a series of difficulties earlier in the year, New York based recording artist E.G. is getting back to business with the release of a new single, titled “Tek Time.”
Though he is recognized as a dancehall artist, E.G. is also known to dabble in soca and other musical genres from time to time. As such, his latest song, “Tek Time,” is a hardcore soca record, which was produced by both Ian Fojo Corbin and E.G. It was officially published on November 8th and is now available on all music platforms.
